Very flavourful, but five counters are a little too much for that effect.

Considering that it lets you attach Equipment to creatures with Shroud, five counters doesn't seem like much at all.

I'd love to see this grab a Unsythe killer of kings and throw it on a scythe tiger or something stealthy and powerfull

Kor Skyfisher helps building up counters (by returning itself to its owner's hand).

if you are only using zendikar cards then its awful. not many good equipment cards. all the white cards in zendikar are comparitivly rubbish. its soo lame. and the black cards are way too good

the intended combo is to give your kor armorant an equipment, and it works quite well in that capacity

idk about your standard white deck, but in a kor tribal deck, this could be good

Five counters is a lot, but for one mana it's not too shabby. Maybe get two of these out with a few Kor Duelists and Kor Skyfishers to trigger that quest counter every turn for as many as possible.

Then when you get something like anArmament Master out, you can sac the card and immediatly put something nice on him. Or maybe do it twice over.

obviously this card was meant to tutor for Umezawa's Jitte's ^_^

Hi. You can sacrifice, search and equip at instant speed. Your opponent probably won't like that.

Wooo-hooo! Remember that creature you didn't block? Well now it's got a Worldslayer on it! Surprise!

its cheap, and instantly thowing quietus spike on kor dualist dealing 16 damage with a 1 drop is always a perk

I feel that five counters is a little too much, but the card is cheap and easy to use, so it's a great card overall and even more so in White which has cheap creatures.

Cheap answer to the Grappling Hook problem. Play some Kor Skyfishers and get that equipment out as early as turn five sometimes. Or Onithopter five times, be insane.

If you read the comments on here, it is obvious that this card is much better than it first appears:

a) huge reduction in CC for equipment like Grappling Hook
b) You can equip a creature with shroud
c) You can equip at instant speed.
d) you are tutoring while you do all this

In the conext of that list, 1 white mana sounds pretty good.

Five quest counters is a bunch, so you'll have to get crafty. Raise the Alarm on turn 2 works wonders.

it's not tooo bad, but honestly I like stone forge mystic better. not only do you get the equip faster, but next turn you can tap 2 mana as well as her and drop it on the field. There are a lot of massive alara equips you can pair that with, like Unscythe, killer of kings

Like all the quests you can chose when to sac it. Wait for the right time lets say when they are tapped out and you drop an Armament Master. Search for Whispersilk Cloak. Your kor army just got alot stronger.

I would say this cards greatest strength is that is a cheap alternative to Stoneforge Mystic and it allows you to carry high cost or off color artifacts. 5 counters is alot but in a Kor Deck you will be running 20+ creatures most cheap and withKor Skyfisher you are probably bouncing them.

Turn 1: Quest, Ornithopter, Memnite
Turn 2: Glint Hawk, bounce Memnite, return it, Argentum Armor to Ornithopter, swing for 6, destroy land.

Game over.

Good News!!
With the new Memnites in Scars, the Ornithopters from M11, combining this and Argentum Armor, you can swing turn two with a 6/8 Ornithopter, or a 7/7 Memnite!!
. . .
Okay, though that may be HIGHLY unlikely, it's still worth a shot, ya know...

Bad bad bad bad topdeck.

Edit: Still an early game card, but better.

So wait, I draw my hand to start the game, I have one white mana, quest for the holy relic, three ornithopters, and two menmites staring back at me.

I guess the next step is to just go ahead and mulligan..

I think they should increase the amount of counters you need, or edit it to say "Whenever you cast a white creature..."

Or even better just get rid of this card. It's too good in my opinion.

It's good for combos, obviously... but doesn't fit in a typical creatures/equipment deck.

★★★★★ (5.0/5.0) (2 votes)
The most annoying part about this card is not the equipment. It's that the counter is put on when you CAST a creature. So if you have the perfect opening hand in a deck based around this card, the opponent will be scooping...

Yeah anyone who says no to this deck doesn't know what it can do. the whole 4 memnite 4 ornithopter 4 glint hawk thing turn this into a death machine. Tinker mage to find an ornithopter for a 2fer, kor duelist for a 7/7 double strikeing permanent killing rape engine

5 counters isn't much. Especially since it only costs {W}. Low cost quests are powerful, as you can drop them quite early on.

Some guy tried telling me I can't stifle this card's last "ability". Really? Cuz he did say ABILITY, when it is an activated ability?! Plus there's a colon hiding.

One of the least impressive Zendikar Quest cards. But, given that we are now in a block where Artifact decks are flourishing once again, this enchantment has proven to be a useful form of retreival.

It's cheap, but 5 counters is still quite a lot. 3/5

Actually with Mox Opal and Glint Hawk, the whole Memnite, Ornithopther deal can make this pop on first turn. Find one of the swords, or Argentum Armor for a pretty evil first turn standard win.

Cmon, someone make that deck. I want to see Spell Pierce more in sideboards :)

Will be funny the first time you tutor Worldslayer onto an unblocked attacker.

One if the more broken cards out there. Searching for equipment and put into play for 1 mana is bad enough, but a free attach also?

I am going to be so glad when this cycles out.
Artscrafter
☆☆☆☆☆ (0.0/5.0)
@SeiberTross: Unfortunately, you're not swinging with an equipped Ornithopter/Memnite on turn 1.

Turn 1 swing is possible with a perfect hand but only if you're on the draw.
Opening hand:
Chancellor of the Forge
Plains
Quest for the Holy Relic
Memnite x2
Glint Hawk
Mox Opal

Turn 0: Reveal Chancellor and get a goblin.
Turn 1: Draw a third memnite. Play plains and drop Quest, unload all three Memnites and Mox Opal, cast Glint Hawk, bounce and replay Memnite, pop the quest to suit up the goblin, swing.

Please note that there are no activation restrictions.
You are not required to immediately fetch an equipment when you reach 5 counters.
You are not required to remove 5 counters and sacrifice as a sorcery.
So this turns into an instant-speed silver bullet equipment tutor. Like, for instance, putting Elbrus, the Binding Blade on an unblocked attacker.
Arachnos

Awesome shenanigans with Elbrus, the Binding Blade. Slap directly onto unblocked creature, enjoy 13/13 trample flying unblockable demon.

"Cast" does not mean tokens entering the field, sadly. Still, with all the 2 or less White weenies out there getting five tokens should take you 5 rounds (or much less). Some craziness in weenie decks with this tutor card, no doubt.

Before running this card, there are a few questions you should ask yourself:

1. What is your name?
2. What is your quest?
3. What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen Storm Crow?
