i took out an eldrazi with it at pre release.i was pretty happy to trade the lvl 1 for a pathrazer. this card can be a wonderful tool for offense and defence. the best thing about the level guys is they give you something to do even when draws arent helping. if you have nothing to do, you can always dump mana in and watch them grow, while buying time for your draws

I fully understand why people don't like level up cards...
That said, she is absolutley amazing. If you are playing blue (which you should anyway, if you are considering level up creatures), drop a Training Grounds on turn 1, this on turn 3, and a$$uming you can play a Swamp on turn 4 or play a Venerated Teacherand level up once, you will be functioning at full power.
First strike, deathtouch is awesome, more cards should have it.

3/2 for CMC 3 in Black, in a relevant tribe that can protect her by making you think twice about removing her, with the possibility of growing even more insane. Run in a casual deck with access to Bad Moon and Dark Ritual and she becomes an absolute bomb. Sexy as all hell.

Ok, so if you pay the 2B to cast it can you pay 4BB to level it up in the same turn? Another words is this a multi-pumpable leveler or do you only level up once each turn? Then 2nd question does he have any summing sickness on pumping it after its casted?

@WarToyz Yes, you could pay the cost of leveling up more than once in the same turn and on the same turn you cast it. She would only have summoning sickness on the turn you cast it, leveling it up doesn't make it a new creature. Also, I love this card.

You can get there quite easy.
Turn 3: vampire nighthawk
Turn 4: stromkirk captain
Turn 5 - 6: nirkana cutthroat
Say you have dark ritual or similar spells and you will get there even faster.
Nirkana is probably my favorite creature after Vampire Nighthawk. Brutally good value for mana!
