One of my favorite creatures. This guy is why Wizards should just let regenerators deal damage with a shield around them. They seem to be removing "They can't be regenerated" from kill cards to make regeneration more playable, but allowing them to deal damage would be far more helpful. M2010 should have noticed this. Whenever a creature in a movie regenerates, it usually gets in a few hits first.

Well yeah, it gets in a few hits on the creature it's battling. Regeneration is strong enough as it is; leave the trampling to the tramplers.

I always love creature with super-trample, the fact that it can regenerate is a bonus...I love sticking a Mage Slayer on a super-trampling creature, giving my opponents a short clock...

With Modern I so have to make a deck around him. <3
Definitely one of my most favorite cards.
Pumping his power to insane levels is always fun.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by your comment. Regenerating creatures DO deal damage. The only time they don't is if the regeneration shield is triggered before the moment when they'd deal damage. For example, during first strike or if they're hit by a spell that would deal lethal damage before the damage step. For all normal instances of combat, they still deal damage.

Unless you cast him with 9 mana, cheat him out, or use another card to protect him, the opponent is going to have an entire turn to come up with an answer. But this guy definitely puts them on a short clock if they cant think of one,
