i would like to kno how i can properly use this card an enchant, so i would think i can use this card on a target oppenents creature and fater 3 turns the monster is then sacrificed or put into graveyard?

stormkeeper has a good point, since the ability also triggers when it leaves play with time counters on it (and on top of that doesn't even need to be put into the graveyard), this card will just work great with bounce or flickering effects - making it reusable, and without delay.

Not very good removal on its own, but it becomes insane if you can bounce it.

Very strong with Reality Strobe... and with Paradoxe Haze.

Recently, I started using this card in a blue/white life deck. The bounce strategy for this card works great, especially with some new commons from zendikar and in combination with an ally deck.

However, it is extremely important that you only use it as a support strategy, as it's no good if your opponent is being slowed if that's all you can do.

My deck tries to keep my opponent down while i build up life for Test of Endurance or Celestial Convergence or Storm Herd.

My general concencus is, this card makes for great control decks, but should generally be employed as a support strategy.

@shikadi- no, Master Transmuter only works with artifacts...

Managed to pull off the combo of this + Dream Stalker on the same turn in a Time Spiral block draft recently. Was so very happy about that.

It's nice blue removal that doesn't lead to card disadvantage, but it's still fairly slow. The kinds of things you would want to use this on are the kinds of things you don't want to be around for two more turns.

The best cure for acid trips.

fun idea bounce it back to your own hand to destroy the thing it's enchanting and get it back all at once.

One more reason why Mastermind is obnoxious. I do prefer this card over nightmare effects like O-ring (or rather Icy Prison keeping it all in blue) where using the combo often requires an explanation and often yields awkward stares, suspicion, and death threats.

And now, of course, combos with Venser.

To everyone who plans on synergizing this with Vedalken Mastermind, this is a great combo, but make sure to cover your weak points if you want to keep it up.

If you want immediate permanent removal and have no other way of bouncing the acid but with your mastermind, consider Oblivion Ring instead. The benefits are that the exiling happens immediately, and you can always go into your repeatable targeted exile strategy whenever your mastermind shows up. Also, the permanents are exiled rather that sacrificed, which means they can't be reanimated with Resurrect effects. The drawbacks are,
1: you have to splash white.
2: you can't wait until the opponent's end step to bounce the ring if you want to exile the permanent forever, you have to return it while its first triggered ability is on the stack. This means your mastermind is going to be that much more vulnerable to removal himself during your opponent's next turn.
3: you can't target lands.

Either one you opt for (if not both), your masterminds are still extremely vulnerable to instants and need protecting along the lines of Plaxmanta or Alexi's Cloak. And if your opponents aren't running any removal instants now, they will be pretty quickly after you debut this trickery.

In addition, you can't rely on this to counteract your opponent's overall tempo, just their strategic trump cards. Complement it with mass effect spells like Wall of Glare, which can block any number of creatures, or the always relevant Wrath of God / Day of Judgement.

@Atali,
I didn't state it explicitly, but that's a common misunderstanding, if you're saying what I think you are. If you do it right, you do exile their permanent permanently. You play O-ring. It's on the stack by itself, you let it resolve. It enters the Battlefield, and it's first triggered ability goes on the stack. Before it's first triggered ability resolves, you activate your Vedalken Mastermind's bounce effect on the O-ring. This is now on the stack on top of the O-ring's first triggered ability. You let the bounce resolve, removing the O-ring from the battlefield back to your hand. This puts the O-ring's second triggered ability on the stack, on top of it's first. The second therefore tries to resolve first, but WOOPSIE (cue troll-face), it can't! Nothing has been exiled yet, so there's nothing to return! It fizzles, then the first finally resolves, exiling the permanent (period).
This lulzy strategy exiles their permanents from the game repeatedly for four mana a shot. It is not only viable, but IMO preferable, especially if your opponent plays from their graveyard more than from their hand, as one of my regular opponents often did to great effect. The drawbacks are as I listed above, but let there be no doubt about it. Yes, it's legal, and yes, it works.

Combos with Dream Stalker, and can kill planeswalkers. Also has a neat synergy with Cloudstone Curio when used with enchantments like Fists of Ironwood. A ton of saprolings, and a ton of destruction!

only counter spells and shroud and protection from blue can stop it.

This aura will anger people if used in the right deck. If you can find a way to get it to return to the battlefield without casting (Venser, the Sojourner or Oblivion Ring from exile, etc) you can even put it on hexproof/shrouded permanents. You just need a "legal object". Auras won't target unless cast. And guess what?- just about everything is a legal object with this one! Lands, Planeswalkers, artifacts, any problem in your way. It always has something to do.

It's a bit slow on it's own, but that's good! They won't counter it unless they've seen it abused before. And it IS going to work if it makes it to the battefield. It gets the effect when it leaves, no matter how.

Reality Acid will rarely ever be a completely dead card in your hand, and that's saying alot for an aura. You'll probably only need one copy in a deck that makes full use of it.

Other cards that are useful in addition to the above are Kor Skyfisher and Vedalken Mastermind.

Oh yeah, when they finally think they're rid of it, summon Sun Titan.

@Atali: Oblivion Ring does in fact combo with Vedalken Mastermind. Here's how:
1) Play Oblivion Ring. When it resolves, its comes-into-play triggered ability goes on the stack.
2) Before O-ring's comes-into-play triggered ability resolves, bounce O-ring with Vedalken Mastermind.
3) O-ring's leaves-play triggered ability goes on the stack on top of its comes-into-play ability. The leaves-play ability resolves, but since nothing has been exiled yet, nothing is returned to play.
4) O-ring's comes-into-play ability resolves, exiling something, permanently.

If you use Venser, can you put it on something else when it comes back into play, or is it just {2}{U}: Destroy target permanent?

Potentially interesting synergy with Reality Strobe, so long as you have some way of reliably getting the Strobe ahead of the Acid it turns it into permanent destruction, rather than bouncing.
