First card you see when you look up ME4 on gatherer. Really like this expansion symbol, much easier to tell the difference from it and the other masters ones.
Card is ok, not amazing. Wonder if anyone will play it in EDH? Maybe if they have lots of tutors or ways to loot it away.

I know some people who'll put it into their EDH decks. Green will be about always on the table and this card will certainly devastate some decks.

Card of the Week #5 Previous Card - Homarid
Destroy all effects, the great necessary evil at the EDH tables. I, personally, hate them and refuse to run them, even if they do increase my chances to win. And there are a lot of decks that thrive off of destroy all effects.
But this is one of those specific destroy all effects that are really only applicable if you know your local EDH meta game very closely and green is a real problem for your blue deck in your meta game. So by all means, put this in at your own discretion as needed. Know I will dislike you a great deal for running destroy all effects, but whatever.
However there is one deck with destroy all effects I would run, however only sparingly and only for laughs: The Destroy All Deck of Hate.
Yeah, this is one of those cards that just hates on things that I would reserve for a five color hate deck. The deck list would look something like this:
The Destroy All Deck of Hate
General - Child of Alara (It wrath's when it dies, cool) 9 Plains 7 Island 8 Swamp 8 Mountain 8 Forest
Nevinyrral's Disk (A classic and EDH staple, unfortunately) Plague Boiler Worldslayer Ratchet Bomb Novablast Wurm (This card has some weird art. It's good, but there's something weird about it) Magus of the Disk (A commemoration to a wonderful classic, I love the magus cycles, probably one of my favorite cycles) Planar Cleansing Serenity Soulscour Sunblast Angel Mass Calcify Cleanse Wrath of God (Wrath!) Austere Command (The commands are another wonderful cycle) Armageddon (Another Classic) Akroma's Vengeance Pyroclasm Evaporate Disorder Red Elemental Blast (Love the blasts, and most of the Alpha mirror cards) Decree of Annihalation (Probably the best destroy all affect. It removes all problems) Flashfires Jokulhaups (I want to take this moment to say, I love the Art on the picture, and most of Richard Thomas' art in general, I think he has done some of the best art in Magic) Ruination Shatterstorm Boil (In my play group and local EDH league, this card is fairly common to sideboard in because there's a lot of really annoying blue decks in EDH that have become a problem. This is also the only Destroy all effect I've ever run in a deck.) Anarchy Whirlwind Back to Nature Calming Verse Creeping Corrosion Essence Filter Hush Multani's Decree Reverent Silence Seeds of Innocence Tsunami (Another great Richard Thomas) Tranquil Garden (Ooo, repeatable) Decree of Pain Extinction (Love the flavor, too bad dinosaur isn't a creature type though) Forced March Nature's Ruin Perish Reign of Terror Stench of Evil Virtue's Ruin Spreading Plague Damnation (Wrath! It comes in black) Consume the meek Evacuation (As close blue will ever come to a Wrath) Breath of Dreams Controlled Instincts Douse Flashfreeze Flash Flood Hibernation High Seas Acid Rain Blue Elemental Blast Counterspell (While not a straight hate affect or destroy all effect, I firmly believe simply saying "No" to an opponent is as hateful as a card can get)
There you have it. A Child of Alara Destroy All deck of Hate. And do you know what? I take it back, I would never play this deck, and if any of you ever do, I hate you.
Whoever rated this below 5/5 forgot that decks have sideboards.

I don't really like these kinds of cards. Color hate happens, that's ok. But this is complete color hosing. And if cast, an opposing green deck will have a very hard time winning afterwards. So it's not that this card is ineffective, but I believe it's poorly designed, to a degree. One-sided, land destroying wrath effects really should cost more, in my opinion. As it is, this just seems unfun.

I hate destroy all effects.
