Astonishing card. Great combo potential with decks that run four of every copy of a certain creature card. The Golgari color cards are always so fun to play, I love the idea of combining card mechanic and flavor with the combination of life and death.

This card, combined with the Dredge mechanic, is a deadly combination.

I love dual edged sword mechanics. EVERY player has a way of spiraling out of control! Populate your graveyard anyway you can, Buried Alive comes to mind. Or maybe a little Traumatize, I'm loving the Hermit Druid. Point being Living Death makes for a great party favor. And who can deny Groundbreaker being played while this enchantment is out isn't a great idea?Just make sure you have 4 in a deck!

Ya this definitely has a lot of potential but a little tough to really get good use out of it. Relentless Rats is a great idea.

How is this rated so much lower than Demigod of Revenge? This gives all of your creatures the Demigod's ability. All of them. It has so many more applications.

At first glance, I really enjoyed this card.
It's massive card advantage, and the recursion and cip abilities will just be great.
However, reading it a second time,
I realized there may be times an opponent might have better cip abilities, or stronger creatures,
Etc. Etc.
4/5, since it's easy to get this card to really help you out, yet equally easy to have it backfire.

Kitsune has the right idea! Use it with the Kamigawa Legendary Dragons! Absolutely retarded in EDH though lol.

I run a deck with 3 or 4 of these,. some dredge, relentless rats, shriekmaw, ravenous rats, and a few other guys. It's slow as heck, but when it works, it WORKS

Remembrance gives you an invincible army that does not let up until every creature in your library is gone.

Whenever I see an enchantment that doesn't do anything on its own, I pretty quickly think Johnny. This is one Johnny enchantment.

Try Eternal Witness, Gravedigger, and other retrieval cards, friends. If your opponent gets more creatures, you get even more. Use cards like Bojuka Bog or Relic of Progenitus to remove cards from your opponent's graveyard then this.

EDIT: Also combo with Mortiphobia. Discard your creatures to remove theirs, then bring yours back.

Seems like this would work pretty well with Survival of the Fittest. Tutor up 3 copies of any creature, discarding them all, then play the fourth.

use in a deck with necrogenesis and groundbreakers(or putrefax for infectious fun) and you'll get someting that pretty looks like a ground demigod of revenge.. ans saprolings from your opponents

well my friend had this mill deck he always loved, till he played me, had this out never played a creature till I drew my last card, then I pllayed relentless rats and attacked him with 60, 61/61 rats, and since I was playing 5 color deck, and had all 5 basic land times, and thanks to him I had wonder,anger,brawn,filth, and valor in my graveyard so I had 60 61/61 flying rats with trample first strike haste and swampwalk going at him, he never played mill again....

Remembrance and this is a fine Johnny combo... I run it in a Zubera deck with numerous ways to sacrifice my own creatures. Turns into a ton of fun.

I think it's a funny little touch that the art specifically includes four copies of the same creature.

Sever the Bloodline with this is pretty brutal, so that when an opponent plays a creature, they loose them all >:D maybe also use this in a self mill with Splinterfright and Creeping Renaissance for some good times and GY abuse

@wadprime
This card requires that you cast the creature. Birthing pod would be okay with it, but it would be pretty slow (turn 3 pod, turn 4 use pod, or turn 4 cast pod and use it. This card would sort of be in the way).

@DLoFunk
Nice. That could be a pretty silly EDH deck too lol. Just run lots of the powerful tutors like demonic tutor and vampiric tutor so you can get this out consistently. Then tutor out all the ridiculous demons for almost no mana. You could even make it a combo deck and use Conspiracy to allow you to search up combo pieces.

I want to use this in my zombie horde deck to me a giant douche to the players :P every turn, all of the zombies will come back. So brutal.

I'm calling it now. This + Shadowborn Apostle (M14). Sacrifice 6 Apostles to search and place any Demon from library to battlefield, then cast just one more Apostle to get them all back and search again. Rinse and Repeat.

Hmm, 1 black mana to play any Demon card from my deck, and ridiculously repeatable? YES PLEASE!

Edit: Sac the Apostles for a Rune-Scarred Demon, thus letting you tutor for this.
