This card is so amazing. 1 Mana for anything. Life is nothing when you can unleash death on turn 1 this easily.

One of the best, if not the best, reanimation spells out there for its ability to enable combo decks that kill on turn 2. Plus, I love me some Robert Bliss art.

Turn 1: Swamp, Entomb the creature of your choice.
Turn 2: Swamp, Reanimate the entomed creature.
Turn 3: Unleash hell.
you guys are dumb. your stupid scenarios always involve a starting hadn with like 7 dark rituals

@ Hayw00d0909 - You'd only get the four poison counters since Infect replaces the normal effect.

@Tokosan Hyperbole much? turns out dark rits are a lot more accesible than you might think, anyway. For awhile I thought they would be like up there at like 10 bucks, but they're ~1$ a pop. Not bad

@Test-Subject_217601 unless THE OTHER player reanimates the creature of your choice xD don't forget it can be any graveyard

Because putting an entomb in the graveborn PRECONSTRUCT wasn't enough, you had to put in REANIMATE as well.
If you're new to magic, I guarantee that the graveborn deck is the perfect way to start with a powerful deck. And if you're not new to magic, just but the deck for the entomb...and the other cards that shouldn't be there (Buried Alive, this, etc.)

@sorin688, @Tokosan: These scenarios don't rely on getting "like 7 dark rituals", they rely on getting two swamps for your first two turns. This is unbelievably easy to do. You idiots can just keep on overlooking the incredible power of this card, and we'll just keep kicking your asses with our Reanimator decks.

T1- Swamp, Dark Ritual, Putrid Imp, discard a bomb with haste (say Akroma, Angel of Wrath or Razia, Boros Archangel), Reanimate, swing. - I deliberately put Putrid Imp in there for a budget version. Of course Entomb is better, the pricetag reflects that. So if you can't afford that kind of thing, there's ALWAYS ways to make a great reanimation deck :)
Really great with cheap beaters, huge creatures, or as a second way to cast a big dude. You don't need dedicated reanimator. Self mill can do it accidentally and if they kill a creature you want, you can just bring it back, often for 1-3 health in legacy. 1 mana and 1-3 health for a creature they want dead is basically always worth it.
Let their liliana of the veil (or your own!) plop a titan in the grave; you'll be laughing next turn when it comes back; huge.

I'm impressed that Robert Bliss just got away with a plain, lazy white background like that!

@Tokosan man that comment made my day hahaha. It's not really evident on this card's comments but I agree, across this site there are far too many comments that just make me facepalm... Things along the lines of like "OK guys, seriously, why don't you realize this card is good?!?! Like OK, Swamp, dark rit, dark rit, dark rit, dark rit, boom, turn one plague wind, and if you can't win after that then you suck at magic LOLOLOLOLOLOL."
