combined with simple equipments or auras, this card acts as an repetitive killer and a strong stable burn card.

You can potentially end the game with this card, but it also takes a lot of set up. IE pay 10ish mana for endless scream or use a demon spine whip or shivan embrace, enchant this card, use the ability to do damage directly to your opponents life points. Win next turn with another 11 damage. Only potential weakness is creature removal.

a VERY nice pinger with many applications. Put a Loxodon Hammer on him and he becomes a creature destroyer and life gainer. Put a Scythe of the Wretched on him and he becomes a cheap creature stealer. Heck, even a cheap as dirt Bonesplitter turns him into a cheaper and never-ending Volcanic Hammer.

I enjoyed using banshee blade with this guy to hit for more each turn!

What about Granite Grip? Worldwake has a better reprint that gives him first strike too for the same price.

Combined with Ghitu War Cry or its identical twin Captive Flame, this guy is a really sweet finisher.

OMFG! AWESOME! Put a claws of valakut on this guy and unless he is removed, your opponent is in serious trouble.

Righteousness and this for an easy 8 damage that costs 2 mana, if you have 2 more red laying around, try to Reverberate or Fork the Righteousness. Even a Hatred might be nice with this, too.

Blade of the Bloodchief and Thornbite Staff.
He requires a bit of mana feed to keep him going, but he's pretty much incredible at that point.
I wish I had one.

@Malnourished_Student That isn't combat damage. And I recommend Strata Scythe.

Unfortunately, Banshee's Blade doesn't work with this, as it specifies combat damage. However, many other equipments are ridiculously good with this.

Freed from the reel + ogres cleaver. 12 for {r}{r}{u}{u} 18 with one more of each.

There's a fun bit of hidden plot between this card and Spikeshot Elder if you check the abilities and read the flavor text.

Cheaper than Spikeshot Elder, though the elder doesn't tap.

He needs pretty ideal situations to work, but he can be a terror when he does. Something as simple as a Bonesplitter gets you a lightning bolt every turn, while things like Scythe of the Wretched and Loxodon Warhammer can just get silly. Plus, you can wait to use the ability, meaning Claws of Valakut or Lightning Talons give you a nasty blocker with first strike who can bump off an opposing creature at the end of your opponent's turn. Plus, he makes a pretty nice use of Primal Cocoon.

Also, a generic goblin inexplicably shooting spikes out of his chest. What's not to like?

This card seems a little overpowered for a common, especially in a set with tons of cheap equipment. This guy must have been bonkers in Limited.

I always paired this bad boy with Fists of the Anvil.

How about Sword of Kaldra on this little fella? :D

I like how Spikeshot Elder only has 1 toughness while this one has 2. It makes sense: He's much older, and has found 1000 ways of hurting people. He must have been weakened a little bit through all that.
