Bye Kuldotha Red, we've had some fun times together.

strickly better Rain of Blades. as mentioned, kills kuldotha red, even when tapped out. tasty in my sideboard.

Well, Gut Shot might be better against Glistener Elf into Groundswell + Assault Strobe. If they just pump the elf pre-combat and this and a tapped Celestial Colonade is all you have, then you're pretty screwed, while a Gut Shot would save you, set them back two turns and 2-for-1 them.

So much flavor in the card that the art is tastey.

It's flavorful that it single handedly dismantles battle cry and tokens, those are tactics used by the Mirrans, which have lost the war. Not sure it should be free though...

Elesh dislikes goblins and weenies, she gives -2/-2 to everything then obliterates the rest with shards, haha

I actually really dislike the design of this card. Its very narrow in what it does, and really just provides super hatred for every token/weenie deck which generally don't seem to be too popular in the current meta.
On top of it, it totally WRECKS battlecry decks which weren't really that popular or abused anyways. I'm not questioning its power, but as far as a better game goes, this just limits what people will play in a way that limits the game is played.

this would have been beautiful at common to finally give people a fighting chance against storm in pauper. *** you, wotc.

My favorite art from the set. Followed closely by Norn herself.

Bad design, very few were winning with kuldotha, and now even fewer will. Nothing this powerful should be at 0CMC. Will greatly limit the diversity of decks played in standard, poor job wizards.

Elesh looks like she's having something of a bad day :( Red creatures must be all up in her grill. Awesome card/flavour, 5/5

idk why ppl are complaining that this kills kuldotha red. ppl weren't winning with it because its draws were too inconsistent. Amazing when it worked. Garbage when it didn't. This is card good but there's better ways to deal with aggro. Boros and Infect are better decks than mono-red and this card does't do much vs them.

I like phyrexian mana. Being tapped out doesn't mean there aren't surprises.

As I have written several times before, green should get these "deal damage to attacking // blocking creatures" spells. It's limited to combat, which is a green thing. It's close to dealing pure damage, so it should belong to a color "next to" red. It can stop weenie play and therefore supports fatties => green. It feels like a volley of arrows => green elves.
So this is a .5/5.

Cheze, this is a bad card to make that comment on, seeing as how Wizards said they were bleeding the colour pie some for New Phyrexia. Besides that, though, this isn't even a deal damage to blockers spell - it just punishes attacking, which is definitely white, and Green only very rarely gets damage spells despite being allied with Red, and they're either just jokes (Hornet Sting) or Hurricane variants. When Green does get a damage spell that doesn't fall into one of those categories, it's usually in some place where the colour pie has been intentionally bent, for example in New Phyrexia (Leeching Bite) or Time Spiral block.

potentially devestating against Kuldotha, but as a person who uses that deck plenty i can say it's not totally unbeatable. goblin chieftains take care of the problem quite nicely most of the time (although this'll still take care of signal pests and the like) and for others i've sideboarded mental missteps on the off chance I run into a deck with these. OTHERWISE, this card isn't all that spectacular, two of them can generally take care of any onslaught of aggro.
If you draw it, KRed is dead, plus any speedy infect deck rolling with Ichorclaw Myr - type creatures (though if the other guy had buffs he'd use those). Def. a good card, imo. Plus, it can get at Hexproof baddies!
Why transplantate when you can shrapen it up and throw at people? Both sooo wrong and sooo right.

A simple and elegant solution to all of your Blighted Agent and Invisible Stalker troubles. Well at least for mine. A friend of mine plays a deck with those guys, Trinket Mage, and Silver-Inlaid Dagger, and if I try to switch out for artifact removal he just puts in Darksteel Axe. Fortunately he never gives them anything that increases their toughness.
I used to be an attacker like you, then I took a marrow in the knee.

Attack with all of your Soldier/Human tokens and cast this.
EDIT: I may try throwing this into my Legacy sideboard. It's brutal tech against any low toughness aggro.
Also, this makes me want a card called:
Corpse Explosion - {R}{B} Instant As an additional cost to Exile a creature card from a graveyard. Deal damage equal to it's toughness to that player and each creature they control or is attacking them
But you know, templated better and maybe simpler. Give me Diablo 2 spells damn it!
