I don't even know if this card is good or not, I still just love it.

Fantastic limited card.

I WILL (most likely) hit you, and I will hit you NOW!

Of course, it's no Lightning Greaves, but, hey, this is common!

Solid. Hasty flying is pretty sweet for your monsters.

I read a comment in the spoilers that said it looked like this guy just hit a bird while running really fast. That alone makes me laugh and give this card a high rating XD

This reminds me of Bladed Pinions. Good, not great.

I love how these sandals look. At first glance I thought there was a living bird at his feet.

Paying two mana for haste is a bit unfortunate though. An equip cost of 1 would have been fantastic.
Would have made it somewhat superior to Neurok Hoversail then.
Compared to Swiftfoot Boots I'd say this would have been totally fair.

Really sweet Limited card that could definitely help win some games. Flying and haste is a great combination, especially on a Fleecemane Lion or some other beater.

Combos with Skyknight Legionnaire. Double haste and double flying!

As was mentioned, this is reminiscent of Bladed Pinions. And indeed in Limited you'll find it is of about the same usefulness. I'm usually happy to have one of these in my hand as it generally ensures I'll have a creature be able to get through. Though, more than one and you might be longing for another creature instead.

You may laugh, but this card helped me kill 3 Elspeth, Sun's Champions at the prerelease.

Looks like another great auto-include for any Kaalia of the Vast Commander deck, along with many tutors and fatty angel/demon/dragons.

At last, a flying equipment that doesn't give me a sour feeling for playing it.

The guy in the flavour text, Daxos of Meletis, should totally be equipped with this.

Green will really appreciate this card; both Haste and Flying are rare abilities in that colour, and the mana cost is totally reasonable for a ramping colour as well.

Always happy to see artifacts patching up colour weaknesses like this.

Flying and haste are two of my favorite abilities when they're together, but I really hate effects that grant haste which require mana.

Having to pay an extra 1, let alone 2, is just too much of a deal-breaker for me.

1 too expensive on the equip cost, but a limited bomb and gets the job done. Solid common, 4/5.

@MechaKraken: I would assume you want to include this because of the haste, but considering the general, and most of the creature that would be in her deck, already have flying, is there not a better option to provide haste?

Ring of Valkas, cheap haste, and pumps red dudes, Lightning Greaves obviously, Strider Harness cheaper equip and the pump seems more relevent in this deck that redundant flying, Swiftfoot Boots clearly, and Sword of Vengeance turns them into a beast! Heck, even Helm of Kaldra would offer the same haste at the same cost and provide better abilities than what would be most likely double flying.

And that is just equipment.
Dragon Breath lots of high CMC dudes in the deck (prob) and firebreathing AND returns from graveyard , Emblem of the Warmind, Fervor, Goblin War Paint 2cmc for haste and pump, Hammer of Purphoros yeah, Mark of Fury reusable!, Mass Hysteria symmetrical but at least its cheap?, Messenger's Speed trample could be better than flying on an already flying dude, Racecourse Fury effectively cosst 1 mana to use, Need for Speed in case you don't need all those extra lands (though I'd rather use them with the hammer to make more dudes instead)

In no way am I saying you are wrong, or to NOT use these, just that there may some better options that are a potentially 1/2 useless ability.

In other news: I am by no means a drafting expert, but this never seems to make the cut. This doesn't trigger heroic, and as others mentioned, the 2 to equip is a bit too steep for haste purposes. Green would most likely benefit the most with this. Decent, but I never seem to include it. I could be wrong...
