BOOO! Not lightning greaves? It will never be close to lightning greaves.
The point is: giving a creature haste makes only sense if it has summoning sickness. So to make good use of this equipment, you'd have to constantly move it around, which is quite a pain since that costs mana.
Lightning Greaves did it right. They don't cost anything to equip, which is a great combination with haste. Add shroud and it's an awesome card. This card here sucks. Costing more mana to play, giving no shroud AND costing mana to move around. :|

You can boo and nay-say all you want but this is still my favorite common equip in the set. It's cheap and has a relevant ability and because it is so under valued it makes it real easy to get in a draft, if only to power up your white guys that like to be equipped.

Seconded! It's good card for limited. It makes everything that it touches better, counts for metalcraft and isn't too expensive. Equipment and auras never were good in removal soaked format which standard is.

Could work well with infect in limited, or at least make your opponent think twice before swinging with all of their creatures.

This is lightning greaves minus the the broken. Its good enough for its purpose;t equips cheap enough to make giving haste relevant.

Obviously way worse than Greaves, but I think it would be decent in a Titan-based deck if Equip was 0. You would get 2 of the creature's abilities the turn they come in. That 1 mana Equip cost really is a strong deterrent.

I have to agree with Pwnsaw. I think Wizards has done better with limiting the number of broken cards in sets. This card has a low equip cost, so I don't understand why people are complaining about it. Plus, there are ways to get the card on the battlefield without paying its casting cost. Overall, it's a small price to pay to have bigger creatures attack in the same turn they enter the battlefield.

Nice ass shot.
Fixed version of Lightning Greaves for a while. Then they printed Swiftfoot Boots which costs less than harness to play with the same equip cost and grants hexproof. It's okay to cry Strider Harness...
