Get used to seeing this a lot in Standard, guys. If you see Shred-Freaks, you definitely will see these bad boys.

I can definitely see a place for this guy in standard burn or Rakdos Deck Wins. A repeatable 3 damage isn't anything to scoff at, plus there isn't much that can block him safely and no one will want to waste removal on him either.
In a deck, you lose the certainty of being able to cast him on turn 2, and you gain +1 power.

Kind of makes me want to play Rakdos at the pre-release...

I can see a TV show coming soon. It's a quriky sadomasochistic comedy called "Jester and the Shred-Freak"

I feel so bad for Rakdos Shred-Freak. He has to compete with this guy and Ash Zealot. In a deck with enough dual lands, this guy is way better than Shred-Freak. His 3 power hits a lot harder, and can kill annoying blockers like Centaur Healer that can grind aggro to a halt. Definitely my favorite addition to Rakdos Aggro's arsenal in this set.

Which way is he facing? his legs and head are facing forward, but it looks like his mid section is twisted round. Looks like his right arm is on the left side of his body. Anyone else see this?

This is definitely the all-star of my Rakdos Deck Wins, even more so than Hellrider. I cannot tell you how many times this guy has won me a game. 5/5 from me.
The design is so simple, elegant, and pure. This duder showcases subtle perfection in such a way that I feel like he's secretly existed for years... it feels Goblin, it feels Rakdos, it feels representative of its slice of the color-pie, it feels Standard, it feels uncommon, it feels like such a winner.

This card lives sideways. A Limited bomb, and perhaps Constructed playable. 5/5

Great card in an aggressive Varolz, the Scar Striped Jund deck.

If you didn't make a turn one or two creature against a deck running this guy you will sorely regret it. Three power and haste for two mana in an aggro deck is really strong.

First-turn Goblin Guide, second-turn Spike Jester? Adding black gives you access to all sorts of wonderful removal, so that could be all you need.

@blurrymadness: I'm not sure about that. If you're on the play, the chance your opponent doesn't have a 1-drop and this gets in just once for 3 makes it better, in my opinion. Your opponent is more likely to have a 2-drop, but again, if they don't this still gets in for 3, even when you're on the draw. Both tend to trade quickly because the non-aggressive deck will always block against the aggressive deck. The deathraiders do some of the same things, but the chance that they'll get in for the full damage is much lower. On average, with this card you get 3 damage and trades with one of their creatures. with the raiders, you probably get 1-2 damage and trades with a creature, but one turn later. That said, raiders are a slightly better lategame draw I guess, as long as your opponent plays around you having a possible haster.
Overall, this card gets 3.5/5 from me. In the limited format, they are not great since the mana cost makes them nearly impossible to get out on t2 with the normal 3-color pile you end up with in DGR drafts. They normally get in some damage, but are nowhere near as overwhelming as clearly powerful cards like Goblin Guide. And the most aggressive deck, monored, can't really afford to splash for them :(
However, I will not deny the great feeling you get when you drop these t2 on the play and your opponent doesn't have a creature out. Red-Black is definitely one of the more fun color-combos.

This guy dogdes an insane amount of removal in Ravnica-Theros standard.
So, all that is left is Bile Blight, Dark betrayal, Shock, Magma Spray, Magma Jet and Spark Jolt. And all of the 2-mana killspells, will sometimes let atleast 3 damage through.

This is a solid little guy. Goblin tribal looks more and more likely. I just hope we get a goblin lord in M14.

Ultimate Price? Dimir Charm? Doom Blade? Reprisal? Last Breath? Feast of Dreams?
Hero's Downfall isn't fast and Devour Flesh most likely hits the 1-drop instead.

Spike Jester is insanely good.
