I guess not strictly worse than Swords because of targeting your own creatures, but still...

This actually kills a lot of annoying cards in standard right now. It will see play.

Yet another Voice of Resurgence killer...

If they are going to make a second card to deal with the first one. They should have just reworked voice of resurgence and done it right in the first place. >:(

A great way for Wx control decks to take care of early creatures. The life gain will be irrelevant when if the control deck can drop their massive win condition.

What happened to the good old doom blade.

For a name like 'last breath', I didn't imagine a harpy burning to ashes. Maybe a person drowning on land or something.

Another reprint of this? No middle ground between here and Swords to Plowshares? How about making it a one-drop?

Believe it or not, this card is quite playable in Standard right now. Kills Voice without leaving behind the token, gets rid of Soldier of the Pantheon and other annoying weenies.

A 2/5 that's going to see massive play in Standard sideboards. The day has finally come where Standard really sucks.

@Legendxp :: This wasn't created to deal with Voice of Resurgence....it's the third time it's been reprinted.

I've targeted my own Staunch-Hearted Warrior with this in Limited.

What a piece of jank rubbish. This isn't unplayable but it's incredibly narrow and unexciting. White should have just ONE mana-efficient, unconditional, instant-speed piece of exile-based removal, potentially with a legitimate drawback (a'la Path to Exile), per standard environment.

May seem like a bad card, but you don't have to target your opponent's creature... Use it on your own creature and gain 4 life.

Severely underrated. Gets rid of Mutavault, Master of Waves, early Pack Rats, and any host of utility creatures.

Obviously not the best removal, but in control your opponent's life total shouldn't matter as much as board presence does, and instant-speed exile definitely solves that problem.

As restrictive as this removal is, it is very nice for a control deck to stabilize the board. It will see play in standard, but I would rather it be 4 power at uncommon... 4/5

Sunbond and Ordeal of Heliod on Hopeful Eidolon, gen tokens, knock them off, et voila!
