Looks like dice are becoming an absolute stable in Magic these days. It's being streamlined well though I think. Proliferate and other enablers make it a good mechanic IMO.
Fenix.

Oh, look, it's just like Carrion Feeder except that while the former card was actually playable, this is not. I'm not sure who decided that being able to block was worth 2-colorless mana, but I think they were overestimating the power level a tad.

I agree, Fenix. 1Black seems more appropriate. Though this is replacing Disciple of Griselbrand as my sac-outlet of choice in my B/G deck.

Corpse Connoisseur? Bloodflow Connoisseur?
What's up with these necromantic gourmets lately?

A monster in limited. If you want to effectively remove anything on your opponents side of the board, you have to kill her first. Or don't. Let he grow to monstrous proportions and regret your decision later.

I agree, Blue. I was hoping the Feeder would get reprinted as well. I'm happy to see this as a free sac outlet, but it's definitely overcosted by 1. Still, with the Blood Artist and such laying around, free sacrifice is always useful.

A sac outlet wearing a corset.
That uses bloodlow to help her grow.
All while pìssing off Sorin Markov.

Slap a Blade of the Bloodchief on her and she will get large very quickly.

Question: Can she sac herself?

her with gravecrawler and another zombie on the field for gravecrawler gy casting would be a nice combo

Act of Treason combined with this looks potent.

@Ranmara Yes. I have actually used this ability in the past in a pinch to force my enemy to sac their bomb when I have Grave Pact on the field. She may sac any creature, even herself.

Endrek Sahr EDH says yes. Chump a thrull, get a +1/+1 for it.

A Scarland Thrinax that starts out smaller in exchange for costing 2B rather than BRG? Pretty respectable if you use it in the right deck.

Feels like a card black has been waiting for for a long time, but comes off as a dud. Pales to the aforementioned carrion feeder in a cost-benefit analysis. Wish it was three counters for two creatures or a zombie, then some fun with gravecrawler could be possible. Attempted to run this in my dead endrek edh deck (i coined that i think) to underwhelming results.

Fantastic, niche card. Instant speed, costless sac outlet is simply not to be underestimated, especially in the context of counter manipulation, such as Ooze Flux undying decks and Ghave, Guru of Spores decks.

Worse than Carrion Feeder outside of tribal vampires, but better than Phyrexian Broodlings, who need one mana to sacrifice each creature and require two swamps to play rather than one. Oddly enough Phyrexian Broodlings is rated higher than this card...

Why is this less than 3.0? Free sacrifices that give +1/+1. Combos with other things so well.

I use this in my black/red vampire deck with Act of Treason, Mark of Mutiny, and Traitorous Blood. Three mana to remove a blocker, attack with it (possibly with added +1/+1 or trample), and then sacrifice it to add a +1/+1 to this lady as well as trigger anything that benefits from things dying such as Havengul Vampire and Blade of the Bloodchief.

Also correct me if I am wrong, but if you steal an enemy's regenerating creature and sac it, it can't be regenerated right? And you can use any abilitys the stolen creature has before murdering it, unless it requires a mana you don't have.

Removing the blocker also makes it easier for vamps like Stromkirk Noble, Nloodcrazed Neonate, Havengul Vampire, Falkenrath Exterminator, and Falkenrath Marauders to grow as well.

Thatcher Revolt is nice too. Use it with Blade of the Bloodchief and you get +9/+9.
