This guy smashes. I've heard people say he'd be absurd if he had evasion, but honestly if I can grow him some before he attacks that's fine, I almost WANT my opponent to block him. Yeah sure, get your guys out of the way so you have even less opportunity to deal with him.

Use with Thatcher Revolt for a beefy vampire.

He comes with his own Blade of the Bloodchief! Well, half of it, to be correct.

What's Johnny Depp doing in Innistrand?

Seems kind of expensive at first glance, but he grows FAST. Helped win me more than a few games at pre-release. Pair him with Silverblade Paladin for extra goodness.

So, what happens when you combine Stromkirk Patrol and an unprotected Lumberknot? You get a pretty smexy vampire.

So many aspects of this card make me want to get 30 of them. I've never felt so good about a non-rare (or mythic) in the Innistrad block since Shimmering Grotto.

No doubt will I consider adding him to a BlackRed vampire deck. 4.5/5.

Behold the corniest art in all of Innistrad. I imagine him saying his flavor text in classic rockstar voice.
4.5 out of 5, just for the flavor text.

If this guy had a nickel for every beautiful maiden he's drained, he'd string them together into some sort of headband.

Overrated card at 3.7 - played with it for a while in my standard vamp deck, and rarely brought it out. 2/2 as a starting point at 4CMC makes it too difficult to use effectively. Stick with Rakish Heir and Blood Artist over this without a doubt.

This plus Arc Runner or anything that dies right after you play it. Just ckear the way first with spells >.<

With Blade of the Bloodchief this guy is ridiculous. Three counters every time a creature dies. WOW! Completely playable in the right deck in any format.
