Also, having one of each of those out is 85 points of trampling, regenerating, first strike goodness, if my math is right.
Go go Golem Tribal!

I'm with polychromatic here, this is a totally fun card for golem tribal. Green white with an ajani goldmane follow up would be very good. You would have 10 power of trampling goodness, and it sets up perfectly for overwhelming stampede. It creates two golems by itself, so it's also awesome with cards like rise from the grave. When they kill the splicer, you bring it back and you land up with now 4 golems.
Granted, it's just a for fun common.. but that's the idea.. magic is a game where you are meant to have fun with it. It's not comparable to say a titan, but it's not meant to be. I certainly plan to have fun with this card.

The art is great. 5/5 for the art.

Rather than getting some giant green creature, we get it split up into several, AND it has tribal effects. How is this rated so low? By the time you play this you should have an Asceticism or something out to protect your shit, not to mention this is fun as Hell in multiplayer games. What the 'Ef guys?

I like how Phyrexia kept the good bits. Makes me kinda wish I were a golem.
And yes, she's expensive, but I love her for it. This girl ain't cheap, haha!
Plus, when you take her out, you got to make sure nothing happens to her.

That human doesn't look very phyrexian to me!??
At 7 CMC... thinking of making a golem tribal deck, this one is fun no doubt, but I don't know if it is strong enough for 7CMC.
Whoever compares a 60 dollar mythic rare to a common has a very strange perception of magic.
Gets much better with tempered steel obviously.
They should have made many more splicers, there not enough to choose from imo.

First time I saw this I thought it was just one token. I took a second look at it when I saw the Gateway promo for it and was like 'Wait ... You get two!?' Makes it seem A LOT better than I had originally thought. 3.5

Fun with Flickerwisp, Glimmerpoint Stag and Galepowder Mage. This can be pretty scary so your little 1/1 takes lots of hate. That is when you spring a miraculous recovery on him when you appear to have no defense... There aren't many creatures that get you more than 6 power per flicker (9 for if you count the flickerwisp). Chancellor of the Forge can do it sometimes, but only when there are at least 7 total creatures on your side.

Been playing a little bit of Starcraft lately? This scene looks oddly familiar! http://2010fall.blog.ntu.edu.tw/files/2010/11/SarahKerrigan_SC2.jpg

one of the more clunky splicers. I'm not one to scoff at two 3/3s with trample, but it doesn't really seem worth 7 mana.

Overcosted. One less in mana cost wouldn't make this too good. Nice art. 1,5/5.

I hate this card...playing against a deck that can put out golem token after golem token isnt fun because its so hard to beat
I feel this card is getting way undercut. This chick is amazing if you build right. I run 3 in my 4 color golem deck with cloudshift and Venser. If you bounce her out and back with a parallel lives out you get A LOT more golems than you paid for. And guess what? They have trample along with whatever other splicer buffs you have out.

I will never get green splicers, and this is the worst of the two.

Not sure I trust this guy. Sure, Trample's fun with some of the bigger creatures, but 3/3s at turn 7 (well, lesser with mana ramp) are unwieldy.

All I can say is in my bant colored splicer deck this plus Venser, the Sojourner always ends the game quickly.

First, cool art. Second, this is clearly meant as a finisher for Golem decks. People look at it, see and turn away, but its just their to finish out your arsenal, put you far enough over the line to kill someone. Hopefully when you play this you are going to have five or so golems with several abilities and now they have trample. Its Overrun for golem tribal.

Wait, wut?
Vital Splicer, with Maul Splicer, Blade Splicer, Master Splicer, Precursor Golem, Tempered Steel and Doubling Season is half a deck on its own.
Also, having one of each of those out is 85 points of trampling, regenerating, first strike goodness, if my math is right.
