Hells yeah! Add True Conviction for t3h lulz. And what the heck, Steel Overseer too. I love artifacts. Strange, though, that white has so much artfact love in Scars...

On an artifact creature deck, this thing is double as good as Glorious Anthem

i think was more fun if only brings +1+2 (because its a steel, more resistant) and balance more the game..

Perfect for Myr deck. Memnite, people?
Of course it's not a myr, it only state for ARTEFACTS, so Memnite get it as well.
And we will be seeing Boros decks coming back.

I have an artifact-based standard deck and this card is pure gold. My favorite pairing with this card is Etched Champion. When metalcraft is active (easy to achieve in a deck with 25+ artifacts), I suddenly have a 4/4 beater with protection from all colors.

This card also helps boost the fragile Steel Overseer.

I give the card a 4.5/5, simply because it can be game-breaking in an artifact deck.

Works great with Precursor Golem (Brings 15 power to the table), Myrsmith (creates 3/3 creatuers for 1 mana) and Myr Battlesphere (Brings 18 power to the table)

A great card for the standard Myr Deck, as it turns all of your little 1/1s and 2/2s into sizeable threats. Now only if there was a way of generating gratuitous amounts of card advantage to keep you from running out of steam.

This card is at least 4.5/5. If it looks good at first glance, it passes the play test with an A+ mark. People, this baby can easily mean, in the right deck, 4 or 5 Ornithopters, 2/4 evasive flyers, by turn 3. Add some Glint Hawk Idol fun (4/4 flyer that, 90% of the time, can't be the target of sorceries), and you have yourself an the base for an original, yet competitive standard deck. I say original because your deck wont have Goblin Guides and Geopedes, like everyone else's.

I played a match against a guy that drafted two of these. I lost.

Anyone else have the crazy idea of using this in a control(ish) deck alongside artifact infect creatures? A permanent +2/+2 pump is pretty significant not to mention the control could help protect your vulnerable creatures....

@tcollins
I don't know about a control deck.(Maybe aggro control, with Sword of Feast and Famineto open up your mana base for counters and removal?)
But I have seen Infect Artifact aggro using this to help boost their dudes. I feel we really need more artifact infectors first thought...Perfereably more cheap ones.

NPH has made this card amazing with loads of good creatures to work with.

In a Myr deck? Solid, though unless you have the space for 4 of each (which I don't) I'd rather have more Galvanizers than this.

In any other atrifact-heavy deck? Priceless. Like people are saying, couple this with steel overseer and your oppenent will not see the end of turn 5.

I've stating a long time now that the glorious anthem was too weak and too unspecific to be truly good. Back then, I've said that a card like Day of Destiny is a MUCH better card, as well as Muraganda Petroglyphs. But both cards had the problem that they weren't in the "pants down" slot (= casting cost 3).
Tempered Steel fulfills all my dreams and is worth a deck-designing card. It doesn't break the game, nor does it make you win the game, but it's a static effect that puts some pressure onto the battlefield.

I hope that R&D gets the message and prints more enchantments like this.

blinkmoth nexus this and signal pest.

poisoning infect decks to death is fun.

This card is absolutely devastating with some of the new artifact creatures in NPH. The format requires you to carry enchantment removal or begin trading you're 6CMC creatures for chump blockers that are even bigger.

Tempered Steel... because turn 3 kills are exciting and require a high amount of skill.

This card stops a person from making friends and drives current friends to rage mode. It should have been +1/2 like Kloid says

Why is everyone still writing ornithopter into tournament lists with this? Steel overseer will also not be around much longer. Lets hope for a rerelease on ornithopter. Personally though, I thought steel overseer was created in bad form.

This card is a perfect example of how elegant the color pie is. "Artifact creatures you control get/gain..." fits in blue, and "creatures you control get +2/+2" fits in green, but if this design had cost 1GreenBlue (or worse, 1Green or BlueGreen or Blue) it would've been aesthetically unpleasant. Halfway between blue and green, in white, this design fits like a glove.

I rarely lose when I drop this on turn 3, after a swarm of Memnites, Signal Pests, Vault Skirges and Hovermyrs are on the board.

I have a Myr tribal deck with Myr Galvanizer,Myr Matrix, and Master of Etherium and a little healthy mana ramp Urza style. This will be the perfect addition, especially when you consider that 2x Galvanizers + Palladium Myr = Infinite Mana to pump into the Matrices, Myr's have a Myr Tutor in Myr Turbine, and if I'm feeling cheeky I can drop Shimmer Myr to give ALL of my artifacts flash.

Myr tribal is just brutal.

Game breaking when used in decks with artifact creatures that cost next to nothing to put out (and in some cases, nothing at all, either at 0 CMC or at affinity cost). Absurdly boring to play against as it's a passive boost that is greater than every other enchantment creature boost at an unfairly low cost. It easily puts creatures out of Pyroclasm range, and with cards like Steel Overseer and Master of Etherium out, it puts it out of range of Slagstorm as well. Even Black Sun's Zenith can be ineffective. When this drops, you're very unlikely to have enough mana to compensate for the +2 toughness.

Thank god for the double white in the cost. Modern affinity decks would abuse this to no end.
