My goblin deck just keeps getting better! Thanks wizards! Hmm, this might even go into my warrior deck...

Best common creature in Zendikar.

This little goblin is just amazing.

Fantastic at turn 2, superb at late game when ALL your creatures get +1+0 and haste.

Zendikar is quickly becoming known as the 'common' set...between this, Steppe Lynx, Plated Geopede and many others, there are just as many non-rare bombs as there are rare bombs.

Just an awesome card, and anyone who understands red salivates at the sight of this. Excellent at all phases of the game.

Turn one:
Plains, Steppe Lynx

Turn three:

I like this card and all the other cards. It seems there are only hit or miss cards in this set.

Worst-case scenario, you've given your goblin deck yet another piece of fodder. Best case scenario, you've just given your game-ending creature (and the rest of your creatures) +1 and haste.

I can only imagine the power if it's a combined attack with Trumpet Blast

you all think this card is so amazing because of how good the abilities are... sadly you are all wrong.

the real reason this is such a good card is because of the name. It is classic and hilarious.

The first time I saw this card it took me a second to remember that this is a common. The next time they bring back Kicker (which you know they will) they gotta have more cards at this caliber. Excellent Goblin, and it would still be ridiculous as a non-synergistic creature type (like lizard). It's just that good.

I love how he's got a little tally of people he's ambushed on the rock to the right of him...

@ZEvilMustache: This should be played in most aggressive creature-based decks that can support it. Of course, the most common use of this is probably Kuldotha Red or Boros Bushwacker, but I've also used it to great effect in my goblin deck. Putting it in a warrior deck should work just fine as long as you know what you're doing.

@jbeleren: I think you mean swing for 13, and a total on 19 by that turn.

EnV, too bad I can just Negate that. I mean, as long as we're living in a fantasy land where you have a Fog and an untapped forest any time it's expedient, why wouldn't your opponent also have countermagic?

In my cube spreadsheet this guy is listed with a CMC of 2 because nobody EVER plays him without paying the kicker. He's just a fantastic aggro card. And the Bushwhacker really lives up to his name in singleton formats like cube: he almost always takes the opponent by surprise.

A staple Goblin card; if he aint in your Gob'rin deck, you ain't doin' err rite, mate.

One thing I find weird about this card is that it has kicker. Why? If you need a 1/1 for Red so badly that you're willing to give up a mass-pump and haste for RedRed, you're probably pretty boned, anyway.

There is a turn 3 kill involved with this guy.
T1 Goblin Guide take 2
T2 Bushwhacker Kicked take 5
T3 Goblin Grenade, Goblin Grenade, Lightning Bolt take 13 game.

This is the best goblin two drop ever printed for aggressive styles. (aside from having 3 goblin guides and 2 mountains in your opening hand).

Also has the option to just come into play for 1 mana so you can blow it up with goblin grenade immediately.

I would definitely play over mogg war marshall if you plan on using goblins as a source of damage.

Me on T2: "I play Goblin Bushwacker, kicked, attack you for 4"
Env: "Too bad I can just use Fog LOLZ!!"

Has unfortunate negative synergy (well, redundant anwyay) with Goblin Warchief/Goblin Cheiftan, but that can be a good thing considering your lords are the most likely (especially in goblins) to be picked off.

Run next to goblin lookout for a 4 mana +3/+0 that no one can see coming.
