I love how this cards take advantage of the defensive nature of infect.

Dang this is neat.

I'll probably play him even if I'm not running infect.
I can't see any significant downside.

I was so happy when I saw this... I really want to make a GW infect... but with only two white infect creatures... *sigh* guess there is always New Phyrexia...

They look like Twili from the gamecube Zelda game.
Note that they don't have a tribe other than 'cleric.' Not something they do often anymore

This feels like an awful lot of creature for just 2White.

I also feel it's worth noting that Doran, the Siege Tower spans the infect colors now.

This is one of the most underrated cards at our prerelease. Not the greatest card obviously, but there were sighs all around when this hit play.

Twisted Image and that measly one power becomes much more threatening. Not to mention you get card draw too.

Oooh, right you are Kryptnyt. I went and looked and this is one of only two cleric creatures printed in the last 10 sets without another creature subtype. The other is Auriok Replica. MONO CLERIC DECK: ENGAGE!!!

These guys must have come straight out of Evangelion.

Plus, nice defensive card, nice art, and I'm glad it's something different than the infect from Scars, i.e. defensive infect.

To add to minus_prime's point, not only does this pair well with Doran, the Siege Tower, but put the both of those cards in a deck with Necroskitter, some Wither and Infect creatures, and you have quite the potent little deck.

I'm running 2 of these in my g-b-w deck. I Haven't played anyone yet cuz my bro's a wuss, even though he always wins...

Does an excellent job of locking down the ground. Quite fun to enchant with Armored Ascension or to equip with Strata Scythe.

I don't understand this card . .
White . . Infect?
What the hell? Since when did White get involved with infecting rather than curing?
I understand the zealousness and religious and stuff like that involves White . .
but if Wizards were going to make white Phyrexian cards they should have made it like
Tap: regenerate target creature with infect .
or Tap: prevent 2 damage that would be dealt to target creature with infect.

Am I the only one who thinks this may be the BEST infect card? Most infect have only 1 toughness, but this guy has 4! Mix with a little Barbed Battlegear action and you have a beast of an infect.

legendary creature- praedator "Mythic"
Vigilance

When they first came out, I thought Priests of Norn were really cool...

... And now I have ten of them. Curse you, common!

@Kryptnyt

Yeah they do kind of look like them. As for the single class type, I heard someone once say that it was supposed to represent that they lost their humanity. It makes sense.

My foil elesh norn has inspired me to create a mono white infect, to show off the glory of phrexyia. These guys are definitely going to be a 4-of.

This is an awesome card. My Doran EDH deck wants to see it every game. Not only is a 1/4 for 3 a fairly sizeable p/t for a utility/defensive creature, it really fits a niche of Infect aggression alongside Doran. It's really nice to be able to play an Infect this big before Doran, then put him out there and attack next turn. Slagwurm Armor becomes an out of nowhere instant win. And if you don't feel like there's enough incentive to play white in infect, remember this guy is fully Sun Titan/Reveillark'able.

This is an awesome common, its flavor alone is outstanding, that in phyrexia being what we consider corrupted is holy, "Flesh is a sickness that infects Phyrexia", this is an embodiment of everything phyrexian gaining the benefits of being white.

Also Angelic Destiny just for the idea of an angel cleric with infect, lol

Am I the only one who noticed that MasterOfEtherum didn't use all first capital letters?

this is the card that got me into magic in the first place. When my friend introduced me to the game, i borrowed his white deck and he used black. At first i thought when i drew this it suprised me that the color of good and order would use artwork that looked like it came from a nightmare, and it intrigued me that a white wasnt necessarily good, like most fantasy settings make order and morality into. and so i appreciate this card because if i hadnt seen it i probably wouldnt be on this site!
