Mmm-mm, flavour. I love that the creature has to slap the enemy creature across the face a bit before it decides to switch sides. I can almost hear my creatures scream "Snap out of it, man!" Better yet:
"Sir, the black mage's Wumpus should be just through here- ah, I see it, Commander!"
"Yes, it seems to be trapped in some sort of mudhole. It's thrashing about."
"Should...should we attack it?"
"No...no. Just...look at it's fat jiggle. I....I can't seem to look away. It's so beautiful."
"Sir?"
"Come on, boys. We're marching back to camp and burning it down. I haven't seen a jiggle like that in ten fortnights. That beast has moxie!"
"Is the commander going to be okay?"
"This is nothing. You should have seen him when we found those ants. Said they 'bit him just right.'"

A bit pricey, but slap this on Pestilence Demon. Especially fun (read: unspeakably evil) in a large multiplayer game.

Has anybody tried using this on Masticore?....good times!!

The mana cost is somewhat prohibitive, but this card is oh-so combolicious. Back in the day, monoblue could drop it reliably on a Stinging Barrier and swipe a card each turn.

Prodigal Sorcerer, though less effective than other examples, is very effective for being in the same colour. And with that restrictive mana cost, I imagine it to be necessary.

Niv-Mizzet can be very persuasive at times.

Pestilence Demon turns this into: When Charisma enters the battlefield, destroy target friendship, it can't be regenerated.

Plague Spitter is the cheapest I can think of that hurts everything. It would be hard to play that, since Charisma has that UUU cost, but I can definitely see this working well if you splash black in a blue deck.
Wouldn't be that great with Palace Guard, actually, since it can only do damage to one creature at a time with its power of 1 (unless you also buffed it).
Since this card is blue I'd say go with Prodigal Sorcerer or Stinging Barrier This card isn't inherently good but the possibilities are so powerful that I give it a 5/5

Mercadian Masques did have a few rares that didn't suck. This was one. All the pingers in blue make this quite interesting. Most effective against black or red as they are the least equipped to deal with an enchantment. I like the idea of stealing big green beaters with a Prodigal Sorcerer but you need a counter ready for enchantment removal. If he lives long enough, put a Diplomatic Immunity on your Sorcerer on your next turn. Against red, you might swap the Sorcerer for Suq'Ata Firewalker with its quasi-protection from red, same CMC.

@DoctorKenneth: Per Thrashing Wumpus' ability, all of the soldiers would be affected by the Charisma.
With Plague Spitter: *cough, cough* OMG that giant lumbering beast was so charming and debonair, I'd better go join his side *cough, cough*.
MTG makes all the sense, as usual.

Cards like these are less effective on Niv-Mizzet and the likes since those creatures are IWIN if you don't kill me now anyway. Charisma turns a prodigal sorcerer in a kill-me-now-or-lose creature as well.

Notice that if the creature would die, you could move the aura to another creature and still keep all of the opponent's creatures :D.

I loathe the flavor text. Gerrard was like some terrible DM's GMPC, a bland generic white male action hero with no discernible traits; yet the game was constantly trying to convince us how awesome he was.
I was mostly indifferent to him until I read the flavor text of this card, at which point I started to actively loathe him.

Vim Enchantment - Aura Enchant creature When enchanted creature punches another creature in the snout, it establishes superiority.
Ace Dick Legendary Creature - Detective 1/4 When Ace Dick blocks or is blocked by a Hearst creature, you may search your library or graveyard for a card named Vim and put it onto the battlefield attached to Ace Dick. If you search your library this way, truffle shuffle it.

I personally like it in a pinger deck with Freed from the Real or better yet, Pemmin's Aura. Or alternately, you can go with Horseshoe Crab with Hermetic Study or Psionic Gift. Any of those combos keep it all blue, which is great with this card.
