Good combo tech indeed. I just wish it wouldn't cost 5...
In Eternal Formats you can most often already do something similar with that amount (or at least with the amount that's needed when you pay for the other card you want to use with the ronin). Most of these combos also work better with Goblin Sharpshooter, who only costs
Quietus Spike is the exception, and will do a decent job. The problem is just the huge amount of mana this costs you when your opponent uses removal. (Sounds silly, but it's really a difference if you have to pay 5 and twice 3 mana, or just 3, 1 and 2 (with the Sharpshooter and Basilisk Collar for example. Consider that a combo that uses that much mana already can win you the game.) And killing your opponent just with will take you multiple turns, especially when he can come up with chump blockers, which increases the chances that he'll eventually draw a removal spell.
Fire ants ( again) can do better with Charisma if you don't worry about your opponent's flyers and your own creatures with only 1 toughness (excluding BoP).
The combo with Neko-Te is a nice block-constructed one, though.

Awesome name with a super powerful ability when in combo with another card.
Also on its own it can trade with 4 toughness creatures in combat, while sweeping 1 toughness creatures off the board. But it only hits for 2 if unblocked without any help (not much for its cost), and its on a creature thats built to attack. This card would be so much better if it cost .

Unless your opponent has artifact removal, they are probably dead right there.
