Wild Pair only triggers if you cast the critter. Hypergenesis just puts them into play. So no, it doesn't combo with Wild Pair.

They obviously knew they were introducing the Planeswalker card type when they designed this card, which is why it doesn't reference permanents like the original Eureka does. There's also the mention of said card type on Tarmogoyf.

This card would work well with Progenitus and Darksteel Golum. Especially on the first turn.

there is no way to cast this turn 1, at best it is turn 3 cast with cascade, that being said, it is deffinatly a powerful card, depending on what you play

This card was the keystone in "Hypergenesis Cascade" in the Pro-Tour Quarterfinals in Austin, TX, in 2009. You can read about the really cool deck this created here: http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/td/65

@ Dingo777 Never tell a magic player they it's imposible to do, because they will find a way! Like first turn forest, exile 2 simian spirit guide, cast violent outburst. Done and done. Sure that's 4 cards in hand + what ever you wanted to Hypergenesis out, but still can happen!

will the creature "put into play" have summoning sickness since they weren't cast?
"there is no way to cast this turn 1, at best it is turn 3 cast with cascade, that being said, it is deffinatly a powerful card, depending on what you play"--Dingo777 You do realize the tremendous amount of acceleration available in extended and legacy right now, don't you? In legacy, it's as simple as "Simian spirit guide, elvish spirit guide, land, violent outburst, with this as the only card with converted mana cost 3 or less. You could also use the moxen that are legal in legacy (chrome mox, mox diamond). In extended, it's more complicated, but it's okay because it's rotating out of extended soon anyway.
God, cascade makes this card so lame. Oh lol I played Ardent Plea I win.

@Kontrah, I like the idea but since Hypergenesis is still resolving when you put down your creatures, the Cloudstone triggers don't resolve until after Hypergenesis is done resolving. (check out the official rulings)
I love this card. I play a casual Green deck with almost no instants or sorceries. This card is basically "turn 6: lay down your hand"

is the CMC for this card ZERO or THREE? i see many comments saying that you can Violent Outburst and cascade into this... but I thought that cascade lets you look for cards with CMC LESS than the cast card
702.82a Cascade" means "When you cast this spell, exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card whose converted mana cost is less than this spell's converted mana cost.
I wasn't around when suspend or cascade was introduced, so someone help me figure this "combo" out...

@Zarcron: Show and Tell uses this same wording, too, and that was designed roughly 10 years before this was. I don't know if they look that far into the future.

Every card in Time Spiral was a throwback to at least one previously printed card.
This card references Eureka and is part of a cycle of rares featuring the Suspend mechanic and having no mana cost, forcing you to suspend them as the primary way to cast them. The cards all callback to one of the color's most powerful spells ever; the others are Ancestral Vision, Wheel of Fate, Restore Balance, Living End, and Lotus Bloom.
As these cards have no mana cost, they must be suspended to be played from your hand, but abilities such as Cascade treat these cards as if their converted mana cost is 0, allowing you to skirt around suspend and play them immediately!

@Toasy: The CMC of this card is 0. Even though Suspend is the only way you can cast the card, Suspend is still only an ability. Not the actual cost of the card.

Good way to empty people's hands: dump Child of Alara right at the end, then sac it or just dump another one.
