This is why you should burn your Sporemound instead of Life and Limb.

The opponent is at 29, you at 1. You drop one of these after a board wipe for 9 wolves. The game is now fair.

Why have 7+ 2/2 wolves when you can have 2 4/4 Rhinos for only 1 mana more with Horncaller's Chant?

@SirLibraryEater: Gee, I don't know...
2 4/4 Rhinos = 8 damage 7 2/2 Wolves = 14 damage and could easily be more than that, and this is for 1 mana less.

drafting can be annoying what with trying to read signals work out what colours you are, in trying to splash etc. Well heres a tip , if you open this pick one, pick green cards every pack , throw a janking green deck together stall game with creatures till you cast this...win draft ...trust me. You'll thank me for it .

Even if you're splashing a second color like Selesnya or Gruul this card is still effective as an end game. I'm willing to knock it down to 5 wolves if it means Immerwolf is leading the pack. Even with an extra color you can rectify the setback by having some Stomping Grounds or Temple Gardens for the wolfies to play in.

2.7? Much worse cards end up at a higher rating.
Win vs a weak board here, and win vs a strong board with overrun.
It's 2 power per land in mono green. Very few things get 2 power per land/mana spent without combo or major drawback.

Mana cost seems too high given the dependency on the forest count. Compare to Army of the Damned which even have a flashback option.
