I think it's important that they lowered the rarity.
I like what the R/W Defenders deck is looking like.

Ah! Uncommon! I have no problem with this now.

That rarity seems more fitting to the card. (Also, I would have been bummed out if this took a rare slot.)
And it's a nice pick in this set with all those defender constructs you have standing around.
