Telepathy is better. Yes, you don't get card draw, but you always know what the opponent will have in hand.

i like this card because my friend HATES these kinds of cards. My hilarious deck featured turn 1: peek, turn 2: telepathy... hahaha.. and it had black so I tossed in stromgald spy also. The deck was not amazing, but that wasn't the point. it was purely to get on his nerves... hahaha.
If this had been made in the bad old days it would have cost 3 and been a 'slowtrip'
I have a couple in my wee dragonauts deck - very handy for firing off first and knowing if the enemy is sitting on a kill spell, so I shouldn't waste my entire hand on building weestorm
This is a cool card, but I absolutely hate stupid cheesy flavor text like this, and there are SO MANY INSTANCES of it. I'd rather hear about some arbitrarily named wizard-I've-never-heard-of talking about the future of some place I've never heard of.

This is one of my favorite cards. Early game you have the advantage of knowing what your opponents hand is and the many advantages that come with that. Late game you don't give a shit about 1 mana so if they have a single card in their hand peek is worth it because peek also thins your deck.
I just realized you can look at your own hand with this.

Gitaxian Probe is also good... personally I find I'm torn between the two... is two life worth 1 mana? Especially when you use that mana is response to an end step? I'm not convinced that it is.
In any case, it's an easier call to make between this and telepathy for me. Telepathy does not thin your deck and replace itself, this does... that's kinda super important for the style of decks that I enjoy playing.

Yes, Gitaxian Probe is better... But this is still a very useful card in any blue deck... Also it's way cheaper in actual price so that's always a bonus for everyone on a budget!
Instant speed is everything on this card; in Splinter Twin, this card is actually much better than Gitaxian Probe believe it or not. Instant speed means leaving up Lightning Bolt without taking damage. Being able to go T4, end of turn of opponent's turn Peek, see no removal, play Pestermite, Kiki or Twin your turn. Also, it's pretty nice to be able to make use of the untap on Mite and Exarch to untap an Island and Peek.
