I used Taste for mayhem and a deck full of cheep dirty threats. Even a few bonesplitters made it in. It got ridiculous.

I had a lot of fun drafting this guy with sunforger and thundersong trumpeter. Double strike makes this guy a fun threat, and the best part is he is cheap too.
Drop a Boros Recruit turn one, then this turn two. Your opponent's one-drops can chump all they want, but your guys will never die in the early game. Unless, of course, they bolt it, but who plays Lightning Bolt anyway?
Seriously, I love this card. So dang good with any equipment.

There is nothing more satisfying in my Boros deck than to Scourge of the Nobilis him and then throw on Sunforger for lulz. But with 4 of these and 3 Scourges, This guy can become quite the beast. Throw down a Master Warcraft and your opponent takes quite a bit up the butt.

Splash red and choose one of the plenty soldiers that buff the troop, like Daru Warchief, Captain of the Watch, Field Marshal, Veteran Swordsmith, or Auriok Steelshaper. And Veteran's Armaments is also pretty awesome with that guy.
