If you've played Cerodon Yearling enough times, you know that vigilance and haste is not a combination to sneeze at. Might see play with Kessig Wolf Run?

If the Miracles and awesome utility lands are any indication,
Wizards wants there to be a huge proliferation in Izzet and Boros decks.

I used to think I hated Boros,
then I saw this and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight.

I believe I was confusing hate with fear-
Boros will be a force to be reckoned with for at least the next two years.

This seems dangerously undercosted to me. Sure Boros decks curve out low but sheesh.

Quite undercosted. Simple, effective, and potentially deadly.

This is probably too good in limited.

This is BONKERS in limited! It turned my Seraph of Dawn into apocalyptic, game-breaking menace.

Late game this is gonna turn every topdecked creature into a headache for control players. As a control player, I greatly respect this card.

This and Vault of the Archangel in a Kaalia EDH is pretty nuts, this might actually be better than the vault.

This is where Lina Inverse lives, plotting how to make more money and burning all who oppose her

Nice card to counter the negative effect of my Darksteel Juggernaut. :)

this is a strong card but right now does not seem broken

The thing about haste and vigilance is that in order to get the full value out of these abilities, this land must be activated before combat, while other tricks are played during or after. For example, wolf run is usually activated after blockers are declared.

I run this in my Gisela EDH deck, and honestly, it's one of the best cards I can use. The ability to give any creature +2+0 and vigilance is enough, but throwing in the haste, this makes my creatures way to hard for my opponent to deal with

I think like many of us, I wanted {2}{W}{R} Double Strike instead of what we got.

I also think, like many of us, it's probably a good thing I don't always get what I want. This land is more than good anyway, without getting Banned-Where-Angels-Are-Legal :3

I imagine having 7 mana open, playing Primeval Titan and searching for this and another land and turning the titan into an 8/6 vigilance trample haste would be a satisfying play. 4 lands in one turn!

TheChort, titan makes lands come into play tapped, so you would need an untap effect. Would be a lovely play though.

As for the land, auto include in any EDH deck with RedWhite.

Instead of my usual attempts at wit, I'd like to provide some analysis for this intriguing megacycle of lands from Innistrad, namely how said lands fit into the overall design of the block.

Analysis: When it comes to combat, RedWhite reigns supreme. RedWhite tends to align with Humans throughout the Innistrad block, and in Avacyn Restored red became humanity's third ally with pro-Human cards Kessig Malcontents and Riot Ringleader leading the charge and Vigilante Justice providing some Human-triggered burn.
