Sooooo goofy, definitely my favorite unhinged card. Very pretty artwork.

could be great, your about to win the game or lose (the fate of the game is pretty much decided at this point atleast) and you have one of your best cards on the field you can use this and have the advantage in the next match
What if the next game isn't an 'Un' Game? Could I plan this so I could call in Johnny, Combo Player on turn 4 of a tournament match?

Kind of screws with the games, but then, what else would you expect from Unhinged.

I'd imagine she might come back as a distinguished leader, a great scholar, or a decorated hero.
It would be the future, after all.

The Phylactery Lich stepped out of his Time Machine phylactery and entered the new world, getting ready to jump right back in it in case anyone aimed a shatter its way.

Combo with Johnny, Combo Player and Mox Lotus to get all 4 of the Goblin Guides in your deck into play. Exile all 4 with Time Machine, then play in a type-1 tournament with your opponent.
Would it work with a playset of Phyrexian Dreadnought, sacrificing 2 to feed the other 2? 24 trample damage on turn 2.
I just realized... if you take extra turns, say by Time Walk, does that count towards determining which turn is "turn X"?
Also, now that we've seen Karn Liberated, I can't help but feel this is somehow it's prototypical ancestor (remove permanent so that you can take it through time to use in a new game). Somewhat more awkward, but still interesting.

Amusing with, say, Silverpelt Werewolf, or Ludevic's Abomination. They have CMC 0... Pity damage no longer goes on the stack so you can't keep sending them off in a Time Machine with lethal damage on the stack. Rampaging Werewolf may be best, then; get the opponent down to 2 life on turn 3 then send it off to the next game. Hopefully the rest of your deck can deal 2 damage after the Werewolf gets sent into the future.

*Theme to "Back to the Future" starts playing in head*
The trick is to use a different copy of Cheatyface but make sure you actually switch the two cards otherwise you will start an argument about how your cheating while your cheating... Of course you also need to make sure your not seen switching otherwise everyone will know... So real trick switching the cards in a way that everyone knows you switched without anyone knowing you switched...

Gideon Jura looks like he just walked out of one of these. Animate him, and then activate this!

What an awesome card!! I would prolong a game if I had a win, tutor x4 time machines and x4 birds of paradise. Then next game I would start with x4 birds with 7 cards in hand. Right before I win that game I would tap the machines and send off the birds, or when the machine//birds are about to die!
I dont think I would ever loose a game verse that opponent after that. Unless he did coupon + cheatyface combo.
Then again he could just scoop on turn 1 next game, and I cannot respond to his concede by activating time machine. That right there would hose my combo, and the card altogether.
So really you need to do 1 time machine + a reasonable card so your opponent does not scoop. Win is a win but its no fun when your opponent does not play.
