The way I usually play this card in my green "stompy deck" (which includes Progenitus, Legacy Weapon, etc), is I play at least 2 helm of awakenings to minimize the cost.
Otherwise, it's really only a mana-conversion card that costs 1 less than the actual effect returns to you. With the helms, I've been able to play Progenitus for two green mana before (on the fourth turn, nonetheless).
These would be a lot nastier if their cost wasn't so stifling for their effect.
Still, a great card; glad I own four of them.

Originally fueled Sunburst decks, and made it pretty easy to cast the Bringers in the same block. As mentioned, also works alongside Fist of the Suns

@Etregan With that setup, you would need 3 cards which alone are useless.
Fist of the Suns is useless unless you can produce the mana. Channel the suns is useless unless you can spend the mana. Emrakul is useless unless you have the above two.
Not to mention if you include stuff like Maelstrom Archangel as another way to spend the mana, if she gets blasted you just got 2 for 1.
More power to you if you can make this setup work! But it feels like it would take allot of tinkering to get the numbers right to make it consistent.
@Jamesl2k5: Except not, because Replicate triggers when you cast the spell. And even if it did work that way, you could only get one green mana.

I love this spell with some newer cards. Good example being Goblin Electromancer. electromancer + Reverberate make for an easy progenitus or an easy door. Even without the extra cheese, extra value due to a cheaper spell makes Electromancer bring home the bacon.

Also note that this is a green "one-time mana" card, similar to Dark Ritual. It might be able to find a place outside a five color deck.

I would use this with Fist of Suns and Emrakul, the Aeons Torn.
1st turn: Forest, Llanowar Elves
2nd turn: land, Fist of Suns
3rd turn: land, Channel the Suns --> Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
3.1 turn: swing for 15dmg w/Annihilator 6
