Why isn't this a creature. It is the epitome of badass.

I really dislike these kinds of effects. It costs more then disentomb, an already so-so card, because it can't be balanced at a lower mana cost. These cards are inherently awkward because they have to be balanced on how strong the could POSSIBLY be, as opposed to how strong they really are.

Insult this card all you want. It can't here you over the sound of it being an effing badass Rakdos nightclub.
Has the game stalled out and you need to finish it up quickly?
Fling your biggest creature at them.
Then do it again, while returning it to your hand.
Bonus points if it has a nice ETB or graveyard effect that will seal the deal.

Card advantage at its simplest. This will give Rakdos players the reach they need in the late-game, burning opponents and recovering beaters.

What's with all this unreliable burn?
An opponent needs some final damage to get killed? A creature annoying me? Luckily I got my six mana multicolored burn spell, that... oh... no fitting creatures in my gy. I guess it does nothing.
Considering that exiling the creature card in response results, again, in this spell doing nothing, is disappointing too. With all these drawbacks, and that high mana cost, I don't see why it couldn't have reanimated the creatures, instead of just returning it to hand.

Worldspine Wurm, just got better for Reanimator. And so has... Ghoultree?

Death's Shadow. I guess the extra 3 mana over dead reckoning is worth putting it in the hand and dealing damage to players

Making bombs bomb before they even enter the battlefield.

Ehhh... not so much. Disentomb/Raise Dead costs . You're paying to add damage. I'm sure everyone's thinking "oh lololol use this with blast of genius" but I just don't see the appeal.

For that mana cost, I'd prefer it to return the creature to play, rather than just my hand.

I can't help but compare this six mana black-red recursion spell to Cauldron Dance and feel disappointed.

They had me when they called it "morgue burst".

Nice card, its Raise Dead with Burn attached to it. I can understand why it costs 6 mana. If the creature returned costs 10 mana then you are essentially getting 2 for 1 and dealing 10 damage for 4 mana. Paying 6 mana to get a creature back and deal 10 damage is strong. But since Dragon's Maze is a low costing set, the most damage you would be doing is usually 6 damage if you wait for the late game. Its fairly costed and I see many limited games ending with this card breaking stalemates wide open.

Expensive, but does major damage and gets a critter back, in the colors that are most likely to have the big creatures that tend to die.

Malignus, although this becomes less powerful the weaker your opponent becomes. @ Coralus, Ghoultree is a good call at 10 damage, however unfortunately Worldspine Wurm is shuffled back into your library when it dies 15 damage would be awesome though.

Vengeful Rebirth but overall worse since you have to choose a creature. Would have rated it 3.5, but the art is just too damn good. 4/5
