Useful for the colorfixing, too expensive to use normally. I can't think of any times I'd ever actually want to hardcast this.

This isn't a creature. It's an uncounterable instant that reads: : Search your library for a Swamp or Mountain card and put it into your hand.

Unlike most Alara Reborn cyclers, this is actually passable since R/B has bad colorfixing and good ways to take advantage of well-sized bodies in the graveyard. Plus, it fetches Blood Crypt and other Ravnica duals, if you have them. And Chippy did one hell of a job in the artwork - the concept is great to start with, the various tones of orange and blue contrast wonderfully and the attentions to detail is superb, as in the starry sky and the steam venting from his body. People really underestimate this guy. I hardcast it all the time and wins games with it. A 5/1 haste is nothing to sneeze at.

The number of times I've actually won by casting this guy is more than you'd think. Then again, when you clear the board with Living End and the only thing in play is whatever you've been cycling or evoking, that's not too far out of reach.
The cyclers from Alara Reborn and from Time Spiral have more utility at the common slot than you'd expect.

Helps get a land at instant speed in R/B, while not being dead later. I may replace my Grinning Ignus with this. The fact that you decided not to kill something with your Doom Blade on their turn means you have a second play to use, similar to draw-go in blue.

Hey this can get nonbasic lands, and lategame if you see an opening can be a 5/1 smash to the face.

Solid card deserves much better rating.
