Beware upside-down duel-wielding cybernetic rogue mimes.

This is a good card. Not pointlessly overpowered, but with enough combo potential to make you want to seriously build a deck around him.
Why didn't they make him something more characteristic of GreenBlue though? Like a... er... Snake Rogue? I'm not exactly sure what he is. As far as I can tell, he's an Esperite who's gone native in a Green-aligned shard. Or a a Green-aligned native after becoming etheriumized. Who knows?
Fun fact: this is one of the few Green artifact creatures. As of writing this, the others are Reaper King and Transguild Courier (which are all colors anyway) and Thundering Tanadon (which is an abomination anyway).

I heard a lot of shit about dis guy right here. Personally, I can't see it. YEAH cascade is awesome, YEAH ITS GREAT on cheap cards, but there are ALREADY 3 mana cascade cards. There is nothing new here but the colorcost.

I like this guy. A few years ago I tried to make a Blue Green deck based around quietus spike and some unblockable creatures. A lot of creatures and spells including the spike were 3 mana, this guy would've come in handy.

@RAV0004: From what I checked, none of the other cascade-3s are creatures. You're not including a cascade card JUST for the cascade, are you? (And yes, I realize that when they were first broached in Ice Age, part of the draw of cantrips was that they obliquely let the deck be less than 60 cards. I still don't think that justifies including a cantrip without regard for what the main effect actually is...)

Strange card, all-in-all. 4/5

Dangit, I had just finished taking apart my Momir Vig Commander deck.
Anyways, it's great to finally have cascade cards in nonallied colors. If nothing else, I'll at least make synergyless decks with this guy just because I like surprises.

@Trygon_Predator

I think they made her an etherium-enhanced GB creature because she supposedly is "shardless". She doesn't quite belong anywhere. Just my two cents anyway.

As for the card itself, it seems decent. In Chaos Reigns, it's gonna fish up a land-fetching artifact, an Arc Trail or a See Beyond. Might also get the new mana-producing, planar die spinning Fractured Powerstone. Also you get to see both your Bloodbraid Elves vanish to the bottom of your library. Haha

A weird, flavorless, stupid card. Why am I not surprised, it's made specifically for one of their special modes.

@whales
Him being blue green might make him from Bant, but he was a rouge he didn't agree with the knightly hood of others from Bant, so he became a thef or rouge stealing stuff then sticking to the forest or getting a boat to run away on staying away from open planes and paths (hense him being U/G) possibly once after stealing something and setting out on boat the planes might have started converging at this time and Bant ran in to Esper where he crossed over to Esper and when he got on the land he could have searched around and found out about Etherium and then found an artificer to augment him in way that would make him better at his profession, and then paid him with the money and goods he stolen previously, further seperating him from his home shard making him shardless. But that's my 2 cents as well

@AfroZ: cool story bro. No, I'm serious. And I love it that you managed to write 7 lines of text without using a single punctuation mark.

And that art is creepy. In an awesome way.

Extremely powerful card, already played in Legacy. I wouldn't be all that surprised if this little Gem actually made a huge impact on the Eternal formats.
Also: I'm really happy that U/G (Simic) got some love, as there are not a whole lot of good U/G cards out there.. :-)
5/5 Easily!

I'm imagining Shardless Agent just chilling upside-down in my armies. Even when he's attacking he's always hanging upside-down from something. When I cast him, my enemies go "WTF, why is he upside-down?" and that baffles them enough that I can cast another spell for free.

Faerie Impostor has a great synergy with this.
Didn't cascade into the spell you wanted yet?
Bounce your agent and try again, maybe you get your Ancestral Recall this time.

And they're both rogues, so you can also consider building a tribal deck around them.

Wu Spy is yet another rogue that has an etb-ability that offers some topdeck control.
Which means he is great with both the impostor as well as the agent.
And he also works nicely with Auntie's Snitch, which again works nicely with Lore Broker.

Add Cloak and Dagger and you'll be able to shroud any rogue you cast immediately.
On top of that you get a sweet +2/+0 boost. And you can cascade into this equipment, too.

All I can think of when I see her hanging upside-down is that she conveniently can be called "Shart-less Agent." Gotta watch out for those wet ones when gravity works against you.

Cascade is a weird and hard-to-understand ability, but in truth, it's one of the best in the game.

For 1GreenBlue, you get a 2/2 artifact creature (can help with Metalcraft or Cradlecraft), and you get something that cost less than 3 that isn't a land. In short, you get two cards for one.

It's like a cantrip, but better. Maybe I should call it a roidtrip.

See, you could make your whole deck ONLY have one spell that costs less than 3: Sol Ring? Diving Top? Hypergenesis? Pick your poison, mate.

Once you play him/her, it pretty much becomes a "Search your library for a card with CMC less than 3, and put it into play."

Deceivingly amazing.

I've had an opponent ragequit with this card just by pulling Ancestral Vision. Keep in mind that this also gets Baleful Strix, Tarmogoyf, Hymn to Tourach, Umezawa's Jitte, Stoneforge Mystic... not to mention all the cool one-drops it can hit.

@DoragonShinzui — you couldn't be any more wrong. This card is a great representation of Alara post-reunification. It's a Bant-colored artifact creature (perhaps they've teamed up with Esper?) with one of Alara's most-cherished (or most-hated) mechanics. But if you're only looking at the flavor of this card, you're doing it wrong. This is playability first and flavor second.

Who the heck is this guy?

An Esper creature in Bant-reachable-only colors with a Grixis style. And he has cascade from the Maelstrom. What.

@Trygon_Predator, Mistralis: That's the flavor of the card. You can't tell where this guy's from or where he belongs because he's the Shardless Agent

amazing card is amazing, from art to design to abstract interpretation to versatile playability. I can't understand how so many of you have overlooked the simplicity of the nature of this card as a whole and as a theme his name is "SHARDLESS agent" that's why he is rogue type that's why he is an artifact and that is why he has slight bant colors because its meant to signify a rogue creature amongst the shards something that doesn't quite belong to any of the shards an aberrant if you will. anyways wish it was modern legal would make for some fun.

I'd love to cascade into Ancestral Vision with this gal.
Bloodbraid Elf could also join in on the fun in an aggressive Blue/Red/Green deck!

Turn one Dr. Shaman into a turn 2 agent Into a hymn has caused many a scoop. Although I think my favorite cascade chain would be in a wacky RUG deck going bloodbraid elf into this into boom // bust
