Should be a very, very scary limited card. First pick in a lot of situations.

I kind of love and hate phyrexian mana, I think it is a good change to even out how powerful infect is, someone playing an all out infect deck will quake with fear as their opponent starts the game with an extra 9 mana at their disposal. this card I think is insane, and awesome, a 5/4 trampler for 4 mana in any color, I want!

As other people said - this card is incredibly good in limited. Its common status makes it even better. You can almost never go wrong picking this card - regardless of your color, general deck theme or other cards. It honestly should probably be an uncommon. Comparing it to the other phyrexian mana creatures, the only other one that really compares in terms of relative power is Porcelain Legionnaire - this guy blows Slash Panther out of the water easily, and Vault Skirge is very niche-y.

I like this card because it's the only mono-green artifact creature, one of the only two mono-green artifacts ever. Oddly enough, they can both be played without green mana.
There are not yet any "True" green artifacts, as they are all multicolor, or are payable without green mana entirely. Same with Red artifacts.

Love this card for the fact that in limited it's wrecked face against many an overconfidant infect-player. Paying four life is pretty much unimportant when playing against someone who's no threat to my life total.
Once upon a time, a creature this powerful would have been a rare. As a cost/benefit, this is a clear five stars. Compare this to all-time favorite Juzám Djinn noting that THIS is a COMMON! UBER! Seriously, who didn't rate this a five, and why not???

I wish this wasn't the only green artifact creature out there. While building a deck around Glissa, The Traitor and Green Sun's Zenith to fetch her, I was really hoping to find some cards that have synergy with the aforementioned cards.. This doesn't make the cut for me.

I actually used this to commit suicide in a couple games I was going to definitely lose anyway on the next turn. Twas amusing.

If you're worried about suiciding with card, maybe place lifelink on it? I mean that the power plus lifelink would be enough to give you that life back right away and the creature has trample!

@SirMalkin: You can't spend something you don't have. Sorry if I'm being a spoilsport. :-(
