Put more than one in play, add some Dingus Staffs and a Talon of Pain or two and you enemies stop summoning. Anything that slips through gets through can meet a Crushing Pain, Tremor, Inflame, or any cheap red burn.

furthermore, add white for parallax wave and lol. tutors are nice too.
I do it in a giant deck, pretty much all of them have at least 3 toughness (even Stinkdrinker Daredevil)

Running multiples is fantastic. Vigor is still probably the best suggestion, though.

Truly, there exists no art so good that Seventh Edition couldn't ruin it.

@Kryptnyt You'd be surprised. Smoke, Manabarbs, and Pyroclasm are pretty brutal. Plus all the removal that doubles as cheap sources of damage. There's lots of variety to red control, not just land destruction, and they're all pretty potent. Some of the best red decks I've seen have no creatures.
Be careful with that Sprouting Phytohydra combo, though. Unless you have a way to win with that combo, or a way to break the loop, the game will be an automatic draw.

2 becomes 4 which gets sent to the player as 8. Use Hunted Dragon as a finisher to keep it in mono-red
Almost. This plus a Maro = SLIFER! :D
