A really powerful card. Comboes well with any en-Kor creature and Mogg Bomber for unlimited damage (old combo from this era). Goes well in lots of burn decks. It can back fire, but usually if your playing this card you should have more direct damage than your opponent (although this does double combat damage too). Works really well in the extended Hypergenesis deck with cascade and creatures that do damage to players as they come into play. Also runs nicely with pyromancer-type decks and with Wound Reflection. Almost a staple in Pandamoneium and Seismic Assault decks, which both come from this block!

Hostility + this + Lava Axe = basically 10 6/1 creatures with haste. Add a Rage Reflection and heads will roll.
