Not good enough for constructed, but a very nice beater for limited.

Craw Wurm is going to have difficulty suing an elemental horror. This guy makes me wonder who's going to be bawss once stupid titans rotate out. Time will tell. 3.5/5 for now
Yavimaya Wurm, you are treading on thin ice if not for your trample ability

This dude kills Primeval Titan dead and lives to tell the tale. Respect indeed.

GTFO KINDERCATCH! YOUR KIDNAPPING DAYS ARE NUMBERED!
WE NOW HAVE A... erm, wha-... ah, THIS THING!
But seriously, I can almost say it is strictly better... except that Kindercatch is a spirit! And since Spirits are a viable tribal now, it can be considered better!
I think this was one of WotC's best card decisions: Make a better costed, better P/T creature than one created in an earlier set in the block, but give it a near-irrelevant sub-type.
4/5 because it is a killer in Limited... had this become an 11/11, thanks to Wolfir Silverheart

As a fan of werewolf tribal, the flavor text makes me sad.
I kinda like it... But the flavor is confusing as hell. This thing wasn't around before in previous sets, so... apparently Avacyn's influence allows for elemental horrors to reawaken? How does that work exactly? And, from the flavor text, people aren't even afraid of it? That's really weird, I think...

The awesome art and name alone makes this card amazing for me! :D
I hope for a while we get Kindercatch in the Core Set. Or at least that he gets Cored once. I don't think we're ready for Vorstclaw to be 'the norm'. Anyone keeping track of comparing Core Set Green Beaters to Expansion Block Green Beaters? I mean I can see everyone has a general sense of the newness of Vorstclaw, but I mean are you keeping track of just 'oh this new card is Big'....but is the Core Set keeping equal pace with the Blocks?
I'm going to go check M14's Vanilla Greens and come back and Edit this. :)
EDIT: WIERD- M14 doesn't have any natural vanillas weighing in above 4/4?! though the Slivers and Hydras are very much to blame for this....this seems very wrong. Very. I'm not sure how or why, but suddenly M14 started looking way more like a simplistic Expert Block set about Chandra, or a Very much expanded ''5 color Duel Decks''...somethingness. The point is it looks nothing like a Core Set to me now, simply because not only are the Slivers 'wrong', but they don't have enough of the good Classic Vanilla creatures. :/
I mean yeah they've got a 2-drop 3/3 and that's impressive. But they've got -too- many Hydras....and NO Dual Lands?! WHAT?
look there are a lot of single cards in that set that I like, like the Baneslayer Demon and whatnot, but EVERY Magic set needs an Enormous Baloth lookalike. ALL OF THEM. WHAT. GIVES. M14?!

@dlgn:
One creature hardly makes a difference in the grand scheme of things; especially when we compare cards in a vacuum.
