Run with that Unhinged creature that can change his name to that of any card.

Play on Kokusho, the Evening Star: Everyone takes 10, you gain 10 life for each other player at the table, and your kokopuffs are ready for reanimation next turn.

It's a sorcery-speed Mask of the Mimic that doesn't require you to sacrifice a creature, and consequently costs more! It's also a single-target Doubling Chant, and possibly the inspiration for that card (as Polymorph was to Mass Polymorph).
Pretty cool!
Bifurcate is Timmy's version of Johnny's Mask of the Mimic, although they can both be used by the other. I like them both, but I'm a Johnny, and only one of them can be used to make a second-turn Phyrexian Dreadnought...
P.S. Apparently a generic creature is worth and a speed upgrade. Who knew?

What I find interesting is it doesn't say it has to be a creature you control. Possible sideboard for mirror matches?

I think you're able to look through your deck for a land, as long as it has been Man-Landed (like Mishra's Factory or thanks to Kamahl, Fist of Krosa).
Since the rules say, "Search your library for a permanent card with the same name as target nontoken creature..." and the man-land retains its name AND isn't a token in addition, it's legal.
However, that's kind of... I don't know, meh? For 4 mana, you could get any 2 basic lands tapped or 2 untapped Forests. An untapped land is sort of weak for that effect.
Also, you can't use Mask of the Mimic in response to Flash's sacrifice effect, right? Because if so... dddddddaaaaaaaammmmmmmmnnnnnnnnnn

@fastpond: Actually, this is still good in Highlander.
In EDH, for example, there are certain "staple" cards that can be found in many, many decks.
Bifurcate is a great way to find your own giant fatty when somebody is threatening you with theirs. Before Primeval Titan was banned, it was a GREAT target for this.
