This card rocks, i use it for my Pickled Pincher deck. The most powerfull aspect of this card the way I use it, is that it hits the graveyard. +summoning station + salvaging station, make lots of 3/3 artifact Pincers, add clock of omens and the combo is exponential, add scrap heaps and you gain life every time the combo cycles.

One of the most flavorful cards in Chronicles. It's not that bad either. It avoids Terror, adds to Affinity, helps Simic, and gives Memnarch a target.

Before I read the Brother's War book, this is where I learned Ashnod was a woman.

This along with Lightning Reaver and Coretapper is simply amazing..

First turn = transmogrant
Second= Coretapper
Third turn = if your lucky a Dark Ritual and summon Lightning Reaver, then add a charge counter onto it from the tapper, attack with it and, if you want, sac the tapper for another two counter's. At end of turn your dealing 4 with the reaver out the gate along with the most likely 4 damage he dealt during combat...

I've done it more times than you'd think and a solid 8 to the face on turn three that keeps increasing is not too shabby :)

Use Memnite with this, and there you have a 2/2 on turn 1.

The "Power" she was offering was a +1/+1 counter? Yeah, I wouldn't trade my humanity for that either.

I'd hold out for changeling.

If we go by the original wording (let's say R&D's Secret Lair is on the table), would a Lucent Liminid no longer be an enchantment?

"Draw a card at the beginning of the next turn's upkeep." Alright, maybe if it cost 2 that would make sense. At its current cost and effect this card seems decent enough. (Why the slowtrip, you might ask? Well, this was a card from the game's early days after all.)
