I use this in a deck with Terravore, Countryside Crusher, Life from the Loam, and Seismic Assault. It may surpise you how often this card becomes a late game finisher, especially with its retrace cost having such synergy.

Dredge, maybe? My Dredge deck with Crypt of Agadeem runs awfully when it dredges too few creatures and too many lands, so maybe it could balance it a little. Like during those times you get 15 lands on your grave.
As all retrace spells, the fact that all your lands in hand bacome also copies of this is nice, though this one has a much more specific niche than, let's say, Flame Jab or Oona's Grace.
Also, play it with Harrow and Creakwood Liege to make it scary.

Obviously a bunch of fetchlands will go healthily with this. Consider Greenseeker as a one-drop, allowing you to turn your entire hand into worm fodder if need be.

Also, I'm amazed that Knight of the Reliquary hasn't been brought up yet.

Grisly Salvage can be used to get it and the land to play it via retrace and also some land in your graveyard for extra tokens.

maybe realms uncharted, for the retrace.
pretty nice combo card in many decks, and ok late game card by itself. 4/5, for some expensiveness.
