Amusingly, Snakeform can make this a 6/6 that can attack.

Wow, and I thought it couldn't get any better before.

I think this is a very good card. It's basicly a bio-object that you use to graft onto other cratures when they come into play and for three I think it's great.

Just compare this to old crap like Cycle of Life which was a rare.
This is not a bad card, especially in casual environments where teammates can profit from it.

Basically a storage tank for powerup counters. I've used this to effect before, they're especially useful in groups.

This + Lignify = fun times.

I have a bunch of decks online that want to use this guy... but graft is such a game staller with the MtgO interface that I took them out. Now, if I had the option to not trigger graft for my opponents' creatures, I might look at them a second time.

Okay the funniest thing I ever did with this card was I equipped Surestrike Trident to it and wailed 5 damage to my opponent with it each turn.
Honestly, a really nice card, especially if you're running three of them at a time.

I wouldn't put it randomly in a deck, for that it's not good enough.

But if you combo it with stuff it gets better. Examples:
- mirroweave, kills all creatures that have no +1/+1 counters. No matter if they have protection, regeneration, are indestructible or whatever
- creatures with persist. When they die and persist back to play, graft a +1/+1 counter on them to remove the -1/-1 counter
- experiment kraj
- or sometimes in team games

Probably because Omnibian doesn't remove abilities (It will be an 8/8, though).

im just suprissed its not a rare or uncommon,it really helps power up my weaker first turn creatures in my bant deck.

Primal Cocoon turns this into a counter-pumping beast. Nothing should hit play without a +1/+1.

This is a super fun utility card that's great at what it does and just begs for compliments. While it is fun to pump this creature and attack with it via "looses all abilities" cards, it also makes a great target for Fate Transfer, turning your weenies into meanies. ;D

Play with Ixidron to create a 7/7 that can attack ;-)

I'd pretty much always play Gaea's Anthem over this. You get to pump creatures that came into play earlier (and you'll usually want to pump your first- and second-turn creatures) and it dodges Wrath effects. The only time I'd play this guy is for counter shenanigans.

They don't call it "Simic Meat Wagon" for nothing.

I've always been fond of enchanting it with primal cocoon for replenishable grafting. makes more of a difference then you would think.

Thrummingbird or Inexorable Tide. Not a one-turn thing, but getting to power up every creature multiple times... nice.

This in a defender deck with 4 copies of Warmonger's Chariot. Trust me, it works.

No, just use humility, Now he's a 6/6 in a world of 1/1s!

Not a bad card with the right combos, or just for some early boost. I like to use it with Cytoplast Manipulator, good way to get your opponents creatures.

@GrimjawxRULES it doesn't have defender so it doesn't work with Warmonger's Chariot. See the Oracle official ruling.

@Fanaticmogg

this is for a graft deck. graft decks need +1/+1 counter generation - which, by the way, this does better then pretty much any other U/G creature - not +1/+1 static effects.

besides, anyone drops a Wrath, you're GRAFT! you're playing blue. there're counters like, oh, Mystic Snake and Voidslime. wrath shouldn't even be a concern once you're up past three mana.

This is basically a stack of flesh that's harvested. Creepy much?

Try it in an Infect Deck or in an Evolve Deck. Works great in both.

This card is ridiculously awesome in an Evolve deck. The high power lets you evolve pretty much everything, and you can feed the counters to Ooze Flux in the late game.

Guys! This card is nuts! You get a three mana 5/5, and you get a free pacifism stapled on! It's CMC is way efficient for its P/T and you get two cards in one! How is this a common?!

An awesome first target for Vesuvan Doppelganger or Vesuvan Shapeshifter!

Your shapeshifter will have summoning sickness anyway, then, in the following upkeep, you copy anything else and it still retains 5 +1/+1 counters.

The only creature that naturally cannot attack or block.

Vigean Hydropon works great with Fungal Sprouting. Cast the hydropon on turn three, then cast Fungal Sprouting on turn four to get five saprolings, and finally move all five counters onto the saprolings. You now have five 2/2s on turn four just from those two cards!

It can't attack, but it can fight!
