deathtouch does not get through. are you mentally challenged? deathtouch is based on dealing damage. if no damage is dealt, no deathtouch.

Deathtouch doesn't get through, not even deathtouch + pinging get through. If you end up resorting to deathtouch + global pinging to address it, well, I think we can safely say the medicine has become worse than the cure. Great card.

I believe it's in the rules somewhere that if you put this and Argentum Armor on a creature, it's name changes to "Cruelty Incarnate"

things like Black Sun's Zenith will still get through. Not targeted, and -X/-X is not considered dealing damage.
or you can just Diabolic Edict when the chance presents itself.
This is a nice card, but for the most part I'd prefer Darksteel Plate. Most of the targeting effects I see play are ones that would kill the creature anyway, and indestructibility protects against most of what this card won't. Plus it costs 1 less and won't get Naturalized like this can.

Until you run out of creatures and the Gatekeeper collects his brutal toll. EDIT: sarroth is right, Darksteel Forge. However, he is also stupid due to the prevalence of exile effects. My idea is cooler.
Expensive to drop but the cheaper equip cost kind of makes up for it. Makes a very sturdy blocker.

Technically speaking, deathtouch CAN get through. As long as it's not happening during combat, that is. Of course, with the shroud built in, there's going to be more than a few thorns about doing it that way, too. (Alpha Brawl targeting a deathtoucher without the kabuto?)
