Now my Storm Crow can draw me free cards when it attacks? I must be dreaming.

For a mythic, it should really have a higher power. Still a great effect.

Not as amazing as Consecrated Sphinx, but in EDH--which is the only place a card this expensive could reasonably be played, I think--its effect can be extremely powerful.

"but in EDH--which is the only place a card this expensive could reasonably be played..."

Good. More for me and my casual decks, then!

Tad bit overcosted for limited, but awesome nonetheless. A giant flying wall that will draw you cards is welcome in blue.

Well, it's a multiplayer card I guess, mostly for EDH/Commander. The more players there are, the more likely someone is to attack with flyers.

The card itself is ok. Not awesome, not bad. Six mana would have worked too, I think.

Another amazing build around mythic for budget players.

This is one of I believe four non-shroud, non-indestrucible, non-hexproof creatures that trades profitably with Boros Reckoner. My only real complaint is that, should blue only get 2 mythics, I'd like one of them to be Omniscience.

Gosh. It's got to be the best draw engine since Consecrated Sphinx, right? I like it. It's not stupid auto-win the game good like many mythics, but played right it WILL win you the game.

I just realized there is no 'you control' clause. This card just got way cooler. I'm really a fan of this kind of 'keyword lord' thing. Playing lots of flyers already has synergy (and I guess anti-synergy with Hurricane), but drawing lots of cards simply for having flyers and turning them sideways is great, and a 3/7 can pretty much attack every turn without caring about blockers.

I like this flying tribal type deal M14 has going on.

Remember when Sphinxes were puzzly and interesting? They're all just degenerating into flying draw engines these days.

Strionic Resonator, would it double the amount of cards you would draw, as its "whenever a creature with flying attacks", or would it only gain you one extra? Personally i think the former.

So we heard you like fliers, so we made a flier that gives you more fliers when it flies that will in turn give you more fliers.

It's the Ultimate Ophidian/Scroll Thief style card. Essentially, it gives that ability to your whole battlefield, by asking that your whole battlefield be made up of creatures with evasion.

For a Mythic, I expect just a little bit more. Like for it to give my creatures with power 3 or less Flying, or something (Drakify them?) Or else to have better attack stats. 4/7? 5/8? It's a good card. I think it would have been alright at Rare, which makes it seem odd that it's Mythic. It's Powerful sure.

Let me finish with this though: I think that for some unique types of cards, particularly anything that could be compared to either Consecrated Sphinx or the Titans for any reason- It's probably good for the game that occasionally we get cards at Mythic Rare that could make sense at Rare. For the most part I think this applies to Value Creatures.

Compare Archangel's Light to Time Reversal to Domesticate to Lord of the Pit to Serra Angel to Shivan Dragon to Windreader Sphinx to COLOSSAL WHALE.

Trying to take all of these cards in, and how their 'epicness' either showed or didn't show, I feel one just has to conclude that Creature spells be given more leeway to just be considered Epicer, but that Non-Creature Spells DO need to be graded pretty hard on whether they 'felt' Mythic or not.

Colossal Whale is far away the Most Mythic of them all, yet What if he were a 3/3 for 5 mana? Almost Okay at Uncommon? I do not care, with that Art he'd still be in the same "Mythicness" category as Time Reversal to Flavor Savorers. Whereas most people don't like the Rarity of Domesticate and NOBODY likes the Mythicness of Archangel's Light.

Decent in limited, like most bombs, but he won't be touched by a ten foot pole in constructed because of his high cmc.

Why has no-one mentioned Warden of Evos Isle yet? A mono-blue or UW flying-tribal control deck might be cute and fun.

I really like this, but the way they make half the mythics way overpowered... this could benefit from 1 extra power, and still be slightly on the weak-side for a 7-drop.

I really enjoyed the flavor crossover with Warden of Evos Isle and Windreader. Not only do they create a flying tribal feel, but Warden references sphinxes as the rulers of Evos Isle, and Windreader really feels most mythic when it's three for a three seven with an awesome ability, as four Warden would make it.

Seems underpowered, unfortunately. Archangel of Thune has more impact at 2 less CMC and it's power level seems right on spot for a Mythic. Card draw is amazing, but by it's lonesome this card is unimpressive, and using a "flier curve" to make this work seems janky and vulnerable to aggro/control alike.

Not a terrible budget Mythic though.

I almost bought this card. It's brilliant for a flying deck. Especially paired with trained condor or it could make maze glider useful for once. Either way, it gives you a top notch ability and flying wall for 7 mana.
I give it 4/5

@Riandro: What Strionic Resonator copies are abilities on the stack, not lines of text on permanents. When flying creatures attack, the Sphinx gives you one "You may draw a card" ability for each. You may copy only one of these with the Resonator, unfortunately you won't double the amount of draw. (I rated your comment down not because it was a bad question, but to answer no. If a question is rated high enough to be on the first page, I think most people assume the answer is yes.)

@DarthParallax: You missed two important details.

Unlike Ophidian, the flyer need not be unblocked. You will get the cards immediately when they are declared as attackers. You can send them on kamikaze attacks if you want.

And most importantly, any flyer will give you a card. It's not only good at making your flyers more awesome, it makes your opponent think twice about attacking. In a multiplayer game, even flyers attacking other people will give you more card draw. That's much more mythic, isn't it?

If I had two out would that mean I could draw two cards for each attacking flyer?
