This is actually a really cool effect, in my opinion. It makes things like Wind Drake and Air Elemental above the curve for Blue, and that's on top of it being a Wind Drake itself, which immediately makes it Limited playable.
This sounds like a fun casual card. Maybe even standard playable, but like so much else that depends on the support in Theros.

I like it. Both it and Windreader Sphinx have some interesting flying boosts. Makes me wonder what's in store for flying players. Looking at the the Ring of Evos Isle though, I don't know why Hexproof wasn't put into play here. Still a good card for standard I think.

Finally, a flying tribal of sorts. Too bad it's not a bird spirit.

Getting Windreader Sphinx a turn earlier will be very significant and will draw like crazy. 4.2/5.

Esper is jealous but in limited, casual, EDH this will see love if it survives a turn, wish it was a 0/4 so it survive the bolt.
Apparently, Flying "tribal" is more and more of a thing nowadays. Can't say I'm complaining, though, but it makes me wonder if other "evergreen" keywords are going to get "tribal" cards in the future, like maybe a Vigilance or Intimidate (I'd have preferred Fear, but apparently Intimidate is all the rage nowadays) "tribal" card? Or perhaps an entire set dedicated to "keyword tribal"? Who knows what may WotC be brewing.

In set, makes Shadowborn Demon your 4 -drop. Out of set? Everything from Demons, to Angels, to Dragons, to Djinns, to whatever. Best use IMO is to leave the same amount of mana open that you saved, but keep it for counterspells.
This was the reason why I won every game during the pre-release.
Turning a Nephalia Skykite into a , a Seacoast Drake into a , a Serra Angel into a or... well, a Warden of Evos Isle into a , this is a great card at a great cost.
Being a Bird Wizard is this odd kind of icing. I don't know many Wizards that have flying, but those that do will love this.

Sphynx and Drakes seem a little more playable using this guy
Forgive my Noobness, can this card make for free flying creatures/ or do you always have to pay the colored cost?

Would anyone else agree that cards like this are a step toward slowing down Standard? Not that it's a bad thing, but I feel like Wizards realized how fast everything was getting and decided to move toward slower board-presence deck construction.
Reasonably, flyers cost slightly more than their land counterparts simply because of their evasive abilities (or are weaker, either way). I'm wondering if Wizards is pushing flyers so much in this set (Windreader Sphinx?) because they know that it will not only slow everything down a tad, but that they'll combo well with the enchantment-heavy set coming out. This card alone can make us think, "That guy's expensive... but NOT if I play 4x Warden!"
It should read "Creature spells with flying you cast have affinity for Warden of Evos Isle."

I casually pulled this from a booster and just glossed over his rules text, thinking "ah yes, another 2/2 blue flier" - It's actually amazing. Judge's Familiar for free? Check. But the real power is that with him is that if you have powerful flying beaters in your control deck, that one extra mana you didn't spend can mean the difference between having your investment covered with a counterspell and not.

Does this affect flying enchantment creatures that are using their Bestow ability? Such as Nimbus Naied? Would using it's Bestow Ability cost (1) less mana or no?
Love the card, but the idea of making creatures cheaper... Isn't that kindda out of flavour for blue? Cheaper sorceries and instants, sure, giving all your creatures flying and boosting them because of that ability by manipulating, go for it! But lowering mana cost for creatures just seems a bit odd to me..

How does this interact with flying bestow cards in Theros like Nimbus Naiad? Does it reduce the cost or not? The ruling on Nimbus Naiad says as an example if you have an effect that lets you cast all creature spells as if they had flash, you can cast a bestow spell as an aura as if it had flash even though you don't end up with a creature. Would that apply to this card's cost reduction rule as well?

If I remember correctly, casting bestow on a creature is still treated as casting a creature card until it resolves. So yes, this would work with bestow creatures with flying whom you are bestowing.

Hmmm. Probably should have had a 1/2 body, but oh well. Much less shenanigans in M14 than previous core sets and I am thankful for it.

Flying "tribal?" Very interesting. Hopefully this means we'll be getting something similar to Favorable Winds in the future.

Just a thought. Any opinions/support?
