Mind Rot, Naturalize, Negate, Pacifism, Serra Angel, and Fog are all apparently NWO core set staples.

One of my best decks is built around Serra Angel.

She is in my mind the greatest and purest of all the angel cards.

In her debut game, I eventually, after about three turns, equipped her with Forced Adaptation, Unflinching Courage, and Moonsilver Spear and in a combo with Angelic Accord she was unstoppable.
(Explanation: it was a green-white ramp deck)

The other angel I have great respect for is Guardian of the Gateless, and equiped with Holy Mantle she left Serra free to rampage.
