To some extent this guy is the nemesis of Serra Angel. Which is why it strikes me as odd that he isn't a demon.

Two reasons I dislike this card. One, they keep using the same lame art. Two, they keep reprinting it and it's really a bad vampire in comparison to other vamps at the same cmc. Take Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief for example.

The grow ability is hardly relevant, which makes serra angel the stronger filler.
Was doing some painful work for me in draft with Lighning Talons. A classic and well-rounded card that ought to stay around forever as a base to compare to.

I'm new to magic and i started with a starter deck from my local hobby shop. I played several games with my friends and most of the rules i understand. but i got this Sengir Vampire in my deck and don't know how his ability works. can someone explain it to me please? Thanks
