This is Face of Fear-level bad. Sure, this always has its evasion, but the blocking part is pretty stupid.
Come to think of it, they have the same body for the same cost, color notwithstanding.

Oh, I get it! He can't notice the small thing!
Shoulda at least cosed less for the drawback. maybe {1}{R}{R}?

Even without the drawback, this is a terrible card. That says something.

Flavorful. Also terrible. I know red's not allowed to have any good large creatures not named Inferno Titan or without the Dragon subtype, but come on! This is embarrassing.

Ok, so... a 3/4 for 6. That is awful. But it has intimidate... yaaaaay? Eh. AND there's another drawback on top. This... what? No.

Even with a cost-to-value ratio as bad as this... it's still Limited playable. Not bad if it's an 11th-14th pick.

Not to be optimistic or anything, But that art is REALLY good. Too bad it's on a relatively crappy card.

When I was reading this card I was thinking: 3/4 for 6 mana, so that's terrible. Which means that it will have all sorts of flavorful excellent abilities! This is awesome! So, intimidate, that's pretty good. But this next one is going to be the clincher, the real reason to play this card. Hang on. Wait. A DRAWBACK? What is this, a coup-de-grace? Getting this card in a booster would be downright insulting.

Look at that thing... LOOK AT IT. Its freaking terrifying.
Why is this so bad? lol they could have easily made this at least a little better. 5 mana would still be bad, but at least it would be better than this.
Yet another case of an excellent illustration on a terrible card.

I had two at the pre-release today. I mainboarded them since few people played red. They won me two games (especially when equipped with Fireshrieker)!!
Of course, no one would play this beyond limited, but remember the drawback is almost non-existent if you are attacking with a 3-power unblockable creature each turn!

In short: too expensive. I like the art, but the card is a mess. It doesn't make any sense. Why would I care about it not being able to block wimpy creatures, when it's an offensive creature anyway? But for six mana you simply don't get enough bang for the buck. If it would be 5/5, or 5/4 haste, or something like that.

So... another Cyclops tribal seed for the Theros block? Maybe? So far we also have Borborygmos Enraged, Fortress Cyclops, Nivix Cyclops. Overcosted 4 color un-synergistic deck for the win?
Joking aside, if there's even a hint of good Cyclops cards in the next block, or *fingers crossed* a Cyclops lord, this a) might be minorly playable in a tribal deck b) I'm going to be that much more excited that I pulled a Door of Destinies at the pre-release.
I think there's one more piece a (presumably R/G, or R/W) overcosted big stomp deck is gonna need for Standard constructed: some freaking ramp. Seriously, what did M14 give us to replace Farseek? Lay of the Land? Geez.

I don't care if cyclops tribal is coming up. Cards should be balanced unto themselves. I get the flavor of his one angry eye not being able to see things that are small but I think we would all be better served if he would have been a 4/3 for 4R. He would have been an ok common in that case. Then again... maybe they get a giggle out of reading our complaints on these forums.

Jesus Christ, how many troll cards does this set have? I'm counting 3, this, rod of ruin and domestication. Not cool wizards.

Look at this goofy guy. I feel like this card should have been called "Blundering Cyclops," been a 6/6, and had the inverse of the Orgg abilities: i.e. can't attack if defending player controls an untapped creature with power 2 or less, instead of intimidate. Think about it: he's like a giant from a Disney movie. He galumphs around, gets distracted by creatures much smaller than him and chases them but can't catch them. I mean, really, this guy looks like he could out-tyrannize Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs, yet as printed he can't even block his own vassals.

This + fireshrieker is powerful in limited. But for that body and 6 mana this really didnt need a drawback...
This has a very cool name, badass art, and is a junk card :(

Completely stupid and useless, but entertaining as hell. To people thinking the "can't block 2 or lower" clause is relevant, you don't play Red much. This is a 3/4 with evasion. It's expensive as hell, but that's its only real sin. It's still 3 evasive power in Red.

Overcosted by one. If they fixed that, it would be a solid common. Better than a few of the uncommons in the set as it is.

Cyclops: "Curses! Why can't I block these measly mortals? Wait, here comes another one...ffffffffuuuuuuuu!!!!"
Daxos of Meletis: "Don't feel too bad. You wouldn't be able to block me anyway."
White, blue, and black have plenty of evasive 3-power commons with less than 4 toughness. Red really only ever had... BladetuskBoar. The 4 toughness might just be worth it here, to beat Canyon Minotaurs and most burn spells.

Drawback-free evasive creatures this size are hard to find at common. In fact, the only other three were all blue:
Shoreline Ranger
Maze Glider
Prescient Chimera
