Plain 3/3 for 5? I'll pass.

I think the flavor text gives this guy too much credit.

@Joeey: it only costs 4. It's a Hill Giant. However, minotaurs seem to be making a bit of a comeback (there was a good one in Planechase 2012) so I'll tentatively 2.5 this.

I'm not sure how you put this in the same set as centaur warrior. If a warrior tribal deck in this rotations standard, I'm sure it won't be aided by this guy.

Oh, it's you. You're back. For some reason.

I like to put these lil' guys in between my bike spokes in varying lengths. So far I've been able to play 'Mary Had a Little Lamb' if I go really slowly, but I'm working my way up to 'Little Brown Jug'.

Love how this and Bladetusk Boar are in the same set.

Shhh, don't let Lord of Shatterskull Pass hear you dissing his fellow minotaur or he will take out his Didgeridoo and tear you a new one

Another one of those cards that badly needs an upgrade. Poor Hill Giant and his horny twins have been milling around in base sets for far too long. Can't we give this thing SOMETHING? Maybe a Giant that can gain trample for R until end of turn? I mean, it doesn't have to be tournament level, but just interesting... I'm so tired of how red somehow became the color of nothing but huge, expensive dragons and tiny, stupid Goblins. What happned to the giants, the trolls, the elementals, the gargoyles, the hydras, and so on? Most of them got stolen by other colors, but still... *sigh.*

I know we were all very upset that a certain Red staple was left out of M12... Calm down, the Minotaur is back!

Poor, just embarrassed by the Centaur Courser in the same set.

Awesome flavor text, good art, terrible card. At least it has the first two things going for it, I guess.

This guy is a bear-killer and last time I checked, a bear-killer is a good thing.

You can't compare this to Centaur Courser. That's like comparing Lightning Bolt to Hornet Sting. Don't you all remember what green and red each do well?

No Hill Giant should be rated much less than 3 (or more than 3). They are solid and classic, not exciting, but they do what they're designed to do.

I wish magic had more minotaurs.

Cool art, but the flavor text really shines here IMO. I find it hilarious.

Red isn't the Big Creature colour, so when there's a green creature with the same p/t but 1 cheaper, I can't say, "STRICTLY BETTER LOL"

3 toughness in a more instant/sorcery colour is decent, because you now have a dangerous wall: one that can, in turn, destroy a dangerous creature without using a burn-spell.

Mund you, red limited in M13 isn't burny enough, unlike M12.

I do miss Blood Orge, though....

If they're determined to give red undercosted creatures in P/T they should give them some gimmicky ability like ashmouth hound or even just haste. We all could accept that No problem.

Hate limited fillers, waste of money.
