Tis is the only Chimera so far I din't immediately fall in love with. It's a shame that, with such a strong instants and sorceries theme, none of them were aggro enough to fit into my Nivix Cyclops deck.
Such an adorable chimera. love the owl head. Perfectly fair flying body for the cost. The scry trigger is really nice too.

He seems really neat, and also really good for a limited flier.
Good idea, Taudisban! It's even better with spells that already have some form of scry stapled on.

Not the card type that this set was designed around, but the body is still decent enough to include in a deck without a high concentration of instants and sorcerys.

I think this is my favorite common from draft: A big body flier that can do a lot of damage and survive a lot of removal. Then it has recurring scry which eliminates my dead draws. Yes please! I think this card may even find its way into constructed because the recurring dead draw elimination makes it even better to me than its uncommon counterpart Horizon Scholar (and the cmc is lower).

If you have this and Mystic Speculation, you could make Flamespeaker Adept REALLY scary.
