Nobody expects the Krasis Incubation!

Seriously, who the heck would expect and Arrest in G/U?

Simic in pure card form. This just is just an amazing design.

"You are hereby under Arrest by decree of the Simic Combine.
You will be held here until we can formally transfer you to a proper Evolution Vat.
If you wish to contact your loved ones, we recommend you do so within the first hours of your incarceration."

So, who want to build a four color Ravnican arrest deck? Actual Arrest, One Thousand Lashes, this.

Great art...but I don't like the card.

I enjoy cards that could serve two or three purposes. You could put this on your creature to make it bigger, or contain enemy creatures, or use Cytoplast Manipulator to control it afterwards. Enchantress deck don't usually use three colors but this card could be a good variant.

3.5/5, the only problem I have is the cost.

I guess in the end, it's just an arrest. Seven mana for two +1/+1 counters is a bit much.

Welcome to the Pokemon Center! We restore your Pokemon to full health. Do you want to rest your Pokemon?

What's that? You want to shove that guy's Pokemon into the machine? Okay!

The art makes me think this should have been a clone type card to go along with biovisionary

Only in BUG, with Corpsejack Menace... but I love the art!

Am I the only one who thinks R&D was thinking more in terms of Cocoon for this? Still, I doubt I'd consider using this without something like Cytoplast Manipulator around.

Just don't forget about them while they're in the incubator, or you might return a few months later and find some Unexpected Results...

As is, far too expensive to ever be usable, but there were some interesting ideas floating around with this thing.

Why is this rated so low? It's creature lockdown in colors that just don't get that kind of thing. And it's flexible with it's alternate mode.

4/5. Might even deserve better.

its like someone took cycle of life and said, "HEY! let's turn this into a good card!"

Ok, I don't get this thing... how does it put counters on the creature it was hooked to unless that creature has an additional aura? The second mode returns it as part of the activation, meaning the creature is no longer enchanted and can't be a legal target for the counters...? Is there something I'm missing here or is this card just an epic fail outside of aura based decks like Bant GST? Someone please clarify, I'm confused...

Can you return it to your from the graveyard for the mana cost? It doesn't seem to specify that it has to be attached to a creature to be returned.

Isn´t this a fail to enchant on enemy creature? After all the controller of the card can pay it no?

@MICKEY.KNOX
The term "enchanted creature" refers to the creature that was enchanted by Krasis Incubation when its ability was activated, not any other creature that is enchanted. The ability doesn't target, you can't choose to put the counters on a different creature, and which creature is being given the counters is determined (and "locked in") when the ability is activated.

@AllenKreuz
No. The player who played Krasis Incubation is the one who controls Krasis Incubation, regardless of which creature it was played on. Only that player can activate its ability (unless some other card changes this).

@Rinnald
No. Only cards in play can use abilities, unless the ability says otherwise.

Creature lockdown which you can bounce before a sweeper hits (or when you no longer care about the locked creature/care about locking something else more), or a repeatable power-up, but kinda slow and costly for that, or put +1/+1 counters on enemy creatures for some reason...
4/5 because I like versatile cards, but it's a bit expensive whichever way you use it.

Anyone rating this low, or calling it "removal" has totally misunderstood this card. Combo this with Elusive Krasis, Phantom Warrior or any other card that is unblockable on its own as a result of another mechanic. Oh you have a Fireshrieker? Better yet, cipher something onto it such as Hidden Strings.

You will win games.

I just played a Prophet of Kruphix, now what do I do with all this green and blue mana from my untapping lands?

I love this card as long as i have understood it correctly. Basically create infinite mana (not hard in standard now with elite arcanist + triton tactics and a few defenders plus axebane guardian.) then simply pump all your creaures to the required size for a win after blocks and swing.

And because its simic defending the whole combo isn't that hard

Pacifies a threat until more permanent answers come along, then pacifies another, and acts as a late game pump for creatures.

Also, like its Monoblue counterpart, this synergizes incredibly well with Theros block.

Heroic, Constellation, and Oath of the Ancient Wood, rejoice!
