Love that "Entering" doesn't target. And grants haste. Wow. Definitely worth the 6 mana.
On the other hand Breaking is fantastic too. It's almost glimpse the unthinkable and if you have enough for the fuse you're really golden.

Between this and Mind Sculpt I wonder how good a mill deck can be in standard.....

Eh, 2 cards less than Glimpse ain't too bad a deal. If you play Grixis, this is pretty peachy. It doesn't use the "grind" mechanic, which kind of surprised me.

Anybody else notice that Gatherer has Entering listed as instead of ?

I actually like this as being copies 5 - 8 of Glimpse the Unthinkable rather than a straight reprint. It gives mill decks the ability to sit closer to burn in play style.
Mind Funeral is the only card here that costs more than two, you average 7ish milled a card. A deck has 53 cards to start, you will generally have milled an opponent by the time you've cast 8 cards. Not as fast as a burn deck, but a well placed Surgical Extraction can stumble an opponent enough to make the difference. Honestly, it'd be nice to have more cards like Breaking printed. If there were a reasonable replacement for Mind Funeral, aggro mill would probably see some play.

This + Glimpse of the Unthinkable, the milling is going to get out of hand. A few Damnation to keep the field clean, most opponents won't have a way to kill you before you drain his/her library.

I believe I was the first to Autocard to this card :) I did so on some card that's good with milling as SOON as this was spoiled.

I wonder if someone would allow me to play this for 4UB if I showed them this 'Errata' lol Also, I wonder if these cards are hints to the 'Secret Guild Allies' or if this is just how the split cards got distributed. 4/5 Stars

Am I the only person who's getting excited at the idea of using this fused to reanimate Emrakul, the Aeons Torn? I can't be, right? I mean, since it resolves as a single spell, you get to mill 8 cards and then reanimate IMMEDIATELY when you hit him, before the trigger even goes on the stack. With some library manipulation (Long-Term Plans at opponent's EOT anyone?) this effectively allows you to get Emrakul onto the battlefield for 8. I realise there are easier ways to do this, but the idea of reanimating Emrakul is just too exciting to me. And of course, the all-important haste that allows you to swing for 15 could easily be game-ending.

I will BREAK your mind and ENTER your thoughts... ooo i just stole your best creature... thanks!
I expect this to become a Modern reanimator staple. I've tried it out and it works wonders.

Correct me if I am wrong, but if you want to cast both at same time for 8 mana, you would need to pick a target creature in a yard before the mill 8 occurred, making it horrible synergy.
Edit: Double checked the rules, entering does not say "target", and you resolve the left card first, then the right. So the mill 8 would occur first then you pick a creature, well done R&D

Hey, that's Wayfaring Temple being "entered" on the Entering half the card. That makes me smile :D.

FNM, Top 8: Me (Dimir Mill) vs Esper Control. Game 1 I milled him pretty fast. Game 2 started with an Appetite for Brains out of his sideboard, and I was like huh Breaking // Entering costs 8! After a fierce battle involving my Augur of Bolas + Psychic Strike + Pilfered Plans + Tormad's Crypt vs his Liliana of the Veil + Lingering Souls + Dissipate, he resolved an Obzedat and we were down to a race. In the end I managed to get him down to two cards before I died to Obzedat. I lost to his Lingering Souls + Snappy beatdown Game 3.
Had the Entering half not been there I'd had won. Before next time I use this deck, I'm gonna cut every Breaking // Entering in half.

The only reason I don't like this card is because I can't run it in my BU EDH deck. And I'm not going to splash red into it just to use this card. But it is still a pretty cool card.

Call me crazy, but I prefer this to Glimpse the Unthinkable. It is 33x cheaper than Glimpse (compare a lowest price of $22 to $0.55 according to TCGplayer). Aside from a playset setting you back a few dollars instead of an arm, a leg, and your firstborn, Breaking//Entering has a few hidden benefits.
For one, the ability to bring back a creature never hurt anyone.
But most importantly, this single piece of cardboard is TWO cards. This means that anything that takes into account the cards in YOUR graveyard (or all) gets an added boost from this. Spellheart Chimera is very fond of this, as are several others.

Actually Razor Yeti, while I agree with your first few points, this only counts as a single card

I was hoping the second half would be Sire of Insanity.
Still trying to do that...
Turn 2: Land, Breaking on yourself to potentially hit something huge (e.g. Griselbrand, Sphinx of the Steel Wind)
Turn 3: Land, three-mana cascade spell into this, Entering
